Best Gas Mileage - Water For Gas Scam

Water for gas is a topic gaining popularity. As the price of fuel continues climbing every day, people are looking for a way to get better gas mileage from their vehicles in order to save money. But what do we know about using water for gas? Is it just a hoax? A scam? Or does it actually work? Let's look at it here and you can decide.

Water gas is created by breaking water down using small amounts of energy. This process is called electrolysis and extracts HHO gas from the water, creating Brown Gas, which is a burnable fuel. The Brown Gas combines with regular gasoline, and then powers the vehicle.

The water gas produced is completely safe, according to Bell Laboratories. They are a company that has done repeated tests and research, and have anecdotal reports and evidence that support the safety and validity of water power. Personal testimonies, videos, and experts are on the Internet supporting these findings as well.

In order to actually convert a vehicle to run on water power, a kit is needed that contains the detailed instructions. These kits generally come as e-books or manuals. Also necessary are specific tools that are available at most hardware stores, averaging about sixty five dollars. There are also videos that you can watch on the Internet that show the actual process of converting vehicles to run on water power, and how anyone can convert their vehicle to run on water gas.

Reports range from thirty five percent to more than two hundred percent in increased fuel efficiency by those who have made their vehicles run on water gas. They also report better engine performance and longer engine life. Auto manufacturing companies, on the other hand, design vehicles to get low gas mileage. Seventy five percent of the gasoline put into vehicles is wasted and burned through catalytic converters. Only twenty five percent of the gas put into a vehicle is used. Auto companies are even beginning to install devices in vehicles that prevent hydrogen generators from working, and have to be disabled. Now you decide who is doing the scamming.

Best Gas Mileage - Ways to Improve Gas Mileage – 3 Useful Tips to Get Better Gas Mileage

With today's oil crisis, it's definitely smart to make the most of your gas mileage. In this article, I'm going to reveal how you can get more value for your money and teach you 3 simple ways to improve gas mileage. By the end of this article, both your car and wallet will be singing for joy.

First of all, you have to remember that your situation won't improve just by reading certain ways to improve gas mileage. You have to be committed to following these tips, too, if you want to achieve long-term effects. Help your car, and your car will help you back. Sounds crazy? Well, read on!

1. Take good care of your car.

Some people just buy their cars without really knowing how to take care of them properly. Out of all the ways to improve gas mileage, this is probably one of the most neglected.

For instance, you should not forget to replace your oil filters every three months. Why? This is because your motor's air filters are prone to dust and bugs-- nuisances which only force your car to do double the work.

Why don't you check your car's air filters now and see if it's still in good shape or clogged? After you make the necessary adjustments, take your car out for a spin. See the difference in efficiency and you'll be sure to keep your car in good condition always.

2. Don't go into a road rage.

There are a lot of drivers who just zoom past you like there's no tomorrow. However, what they don't realize is that they're consuming twice as much gas that way.

If you're not in a particular hurry, then slow down and enjoy the drive. This will save you a good amount of gas and will help you make the most of your last stop at the gas station. This is one of the better ways to improve gas mileage.

3. Don't take shades for granted.

Parking without a shade is truly one of the most unpleasant car experiences in the world. Aside from the unbearable heat trapped inside the vehicle and the warmth stuck in the seats, you also have to deal with increased evaporation.

When you leave your car out under the mercy of the sun, your gas evaporates more frequently and you're robbed of gas without even knowing it.

These useful ways to improve gas mileage have been tried and tested with varying results. However, you have to admit that these tips also give you more than just additional gas mileage. They teach you how to give your car better maintenance, and discipline you to become smarter when it comes to driving and parking.

Best Gas Mileage - Global Warming Disasters - Save Your Life and Act Now!

Our main concern at the moment friends is not those ever increasing gas fuel costs but the virtually irreversible changes in the environment due to our carbon footprint being left on this planet which is causing global warming. We may be different in many respects but when the effects start to be felt, we will all come under attack from a new enemy. A large number of cases of life threatening conditions such as skin cancer, lung cancer, and other respiratory diseases into the millions will be the result of 40 years of global warming.

You really need to pay a lot more attention to what your own carbon footprint output is in both the negative and positive aspects, as your changes will really help to reverse the current environment conditions. By only planting one dam tree you can make a difference by offsetting nearly 750 kg of carbon, but on the other hand if you take a plane from Washington to Boston you will put 720 kg of carbon back into the environment, so in effect you need to plant at least one tree for every trip.

On average a Non Alien produces an amazing 22 tons of co2 emissions each and every year. Now let's compare that with the rest of the civilized world, who have managed to reduce their co2 emissions to just 6 tons per person per year. I am not suggesting that we have to give up our car culture but you need to be made aware of some of the things that you can do to reduce your carbon footprint: -

Tip #1: Buying local. Everything we purchase as a consumer will have it's own carbon footprint attached to it. You see, you have to remember that almost everything needs to be transported over long distances which needs energy and lots of it to reach it's final destiny. I came over some interesting statistics the other day that showed that on average it takes almost 1500 miles for fruit and vegetables to get from the farm to the fridge. As you can see this is a complete waste of energy resources and that it would be much easier for everyone to buy produce locally.

Tip #2: Dress appropriately. When I say appropriately, I don't mean what to wear if we are going out to the theater. I mean in our own home. Just adjust your thermostat according to the season and wear less or more clothing as the case might be. This is not a lot to ask of anybody and you could even help in contributing 2,000 pounds of co2 less each year into our fragile environment. You will also feel the difference in your pocket as high savings in energy costs are guaranteed. But the main reason for doing this is to help our environment get back on track, so don't forget it.

Tip #3: Old stuff out: Here we are looking at energy savings and did you know that changing 3 traditional Edison light bulbs for new low energy-efficient CFLs would result in energy savings amounting to $60 per year. The most important benefit though would be that collectively the whole planet could save a trillion pounds of CO2 from being let out into our crippling environment. Energy Star rated PCs and other electrical appliances will also help you make further energy savings and always remember to turn the lights off as you leave a room.

Tip #4: Keep it clean. Your car will cause a 500% increase in global warming if it is not maintained correctly. That means getting your car serviced according to the manual and not letting the time pass. You won't regret it as you will make savings in car running costs through better efficiency. Remember that with shopping trips - nearer is better for the environment.

Tip #5: Improve gas mileage. Hybrid cars are are great option to reduce your carbon footprint by almost 50% but now you don't even have to change your car if you don't want to. alternative energy boosters such as HHO water fuel conversions are available to be installed into any type of vehicle and will result in up to 40% reductions in gas mileage.

Let's rally together folks and really do something that will help instead of just sitting on our backsides and expecting everybody else to get their hands dirty. There are more people to consider that will be around in 40 years time, cause if we don't act now they can be assured destruction.

Best Gas Mileage - Avoid Global Warming Disasters and Save Your Own Life!

The way that gas prices are on the rise at the moment should really be the least of our fears, because the gravest concern that has come to threaten our planet this century is how the environment is under attack. It doesn't matter what your background is or even if you are rich or not, we will all have to suffer together regardless. Recent studies have revealed that literally millions of people over the next 40 years shall die due to environment changes from rising cases of skin cancer, lung cancer, and other respiratory diseases.

Our own personal carbon footprint contribution needs to be our main priority in life from now on and not only for the negative aspects but also positive ones, as there is so much that we too can do to help the environment. A great example to get you started would be to just plant a tree as this would help to offset about 720 kg of carbon during it's lifespan, where as taking a plane from New York to Washington would put almost 800 kg of carbon back into the environment.

The average American creates about 22 tons of CO2 each year, which is quite an achievement if you compare it to the rest of the world, who still produce about 6 tons per person, which is still way too much. I am not saying that you have to go around on a push bike, but there really are things you can do to reduce your own personal carbon footprint: -

Tip #1: Buy local. "Carbon cost" is added to virtually everything within the consumer society. You have to take into account transportation, distance and the amount of energy that is consumed in the final delivery of a product to it's point of sale. Recent U.S. Department of Agriculture studies show that the majority of fruit and vegetables have to be transported an average of 1500 miles from the farm up to the kitchen table. This is a complete and utter waste of resources, so do your bit and buy local farm produce.

Tip #2: Dress appropriately. Well I mean why don't we just dress according to more acceptable temperatures. Reduce the thermostat if it's cold and put on a sweater and when it's hot put the thermostat up a bit and take off your shirt. These small hardships will help reduce 2,000 pounds of co2 every year as well as high savings on energy costs. This is all in aid of helping our planet remember, so please make an effort.

Tip #3: New for old: I don't know whether you have seen those new energy-efficient CFL light bulbs that you can buy nowadays. Well they do cost a bit more than normal light bulbs and changing only 3 would result in energy savings per American home of $60 per year and as a planet this would result in a trillion pounds of CO2 not being emitted into the atmosphere. You should also try and upgrade appliances and computers to Energy Star rated machines, and remember to turn off the lights as you leave a room.

Tip #4: Keep it clean. A 500% increase in global warming can be the result of owning a poorly maintained car as well as it costing more to run. Have your car regularly serviced and checked to improve efficiency and if you do go out shopping, go to the nearest available store.

Tip #5: Improve gas mileage. Definitely consider driving a hybrid car or installing an alternative energy booster. I would definitely recommend a water fuel car converter being installed into your existing car. This is a fine way to reduce your carbon footprint by half and you will see a 40% reduction in gas mileage.

If we start now, it will be a much better world for all of our children and grandchildren. Everybody on this planet is equally responsible to stop this destruction and if nothing is done, it will all just end in tears.

Best Gas Mileage - Improve Gas Mileage - Stop Global Warming and Save Your Life!

Regardless of how you feel about gas prices, virtually everyone should concerned with the environment. We all live together on this earth, and if the planet becomes destroyed, it won't matter if you are rich or poor, black or white, old or young; We will all suffer together. Over the next 40 years, it's predicted millions of people will needlessly die due to global warming based conditions like skin cancer, lung cancer, and respiratory diseases.

You need to be aware of your own personal carbon footprint, which refers to the impact you have on the environment - both positive and negative - and make choices that are good for the earth instead of detrimental. For example, if you plant a tree a day, you'll offset about 720 kg of carbon over the tree's life. But if you take a plane from San Francisco to Los Angeles, you'll put almost 800 kg of carbon back into the environment, which definitely isn't good.

On average, each American citizen is responsible for almost 22 tons of carbon dioxide per year, far in excess of the world's average of just 6 tons per person. And while I'm not suggesting you bicycle to your next business trip, there are a number of ways you can dramatically cut your carbon footprint:

Tip #1: Go local. Virtually everything we buy has a "carbon cost" connected to is based on things like transportation distance and the amount of energy that goes into manufacturing. Try to buy locally made products and produce. According to a 2001 U.S. Department of Agriculture study, most fruits and vegetables are shipped 1500 miles or more from farm to kitchen, which is incredible wasteful, and more than a little ironic if you are trying to do the right thing by buying organic .

Tip #2: Dress appropriately. Adjusting the thermostat down 2 degrees down when it's cold and 2 degrees up when it's warm will help the average family eliminate 2,000 pounds of carbon dioxide per year, not to mention save a bunch of money. Wear a sweater or take off your shirt if you are uncomfortable. Remember, it's the planet we are talking about here.

Tip #3: Replace old technology. If every home in America replaced just 3 light bulbs with energy-efficient CFLs, they would save $60 a year and collectively as a planet we would keep a trillion pounds of CO2 out of the atmosphere. Upgrade appliances and computers to those that are Energy Star rated, and turn off the lights when you leave a room.

Tip #4: Keep it clean. A poorly maintained car can add to global warming 500% more than a normal vehicle, and it costs money too. Keep air and fuel filters clean, replace fouled spark plugs and injectors, and get regular tune ups. And shop locally when you do drive, not at a discount store 50 miles away.

Tip #5: Improve your mileage. Drive a hybrid car or install an alternative energy booster like water fuel or HHO gas technology in your existing car. You will see mileage increases of up to 40%, and cut your carbon footprint in half.

Everybody on the planet has a personal responsibility to stop the destruction that will, if left unchecked, effect us all. If we begin now, it'll be a much better world for our children and grandchildren.

Best Gas Mileage - Water Fueled Cars a Modern-day Reality

The subject of water fueled cars has been around for a very long time and is a widely debated subject. However, as a little known matter of fact most people don't even know or realize that the very first internal combustion engine powered automobile was invented by the Swiss inventor Isaac de Rivas in 1807. Which being in and of itself an incredible achievement seems to not even pale to the fact that it also turns out to be that what the engine used as fuel, (since gasoline wasn't invented until the 1870's) was amazingly, HYDROGEN extracted from WATER! [1]

Nowadays we still know that it's entirely possible to run a car on hydrogen. And although hydrogen gas has been proven to be 3 times more powerful than gasoline with the potential for its use as a fuel being enormous, it still has many drawbacks. For one thing, hydrogen, when contained and stored in large quantities, is very flammable and dangerous. Does anybody remember the Hindenburg?

Vehicles running with hydrogen in pressurized tanks have the potential of bursting into dangerous fireballs of combustible energy, especially during tragic automobile accidents. Even with advanced techniques of safety and procedures in place to protect the public, and even though hydrogen may seem to be ecologically and technologically the logical fuel right now for automobiles, there is no consumer distribution system in place.[2] Just the cost of building a hydrogen fueling infrastructure is an often a debated subject in and of itself. According to Larry Burns of General Motors "A network of 12,000 hydrogen stations in the United States would put 70 percent of the U.S. population within two miles of a fueling station. If the stations cost $2 million each (estimates for the cost of a station range from $1 million to $4 million) the network would cost about $24 billion."[3]

Also, currently with gasoline prices going through the roof and no definitive way of knowing what type of fueled vehicle will emerge as the dominant leader of the future, whether it be hydrogen, hydrogen fuel cells, methanol, ethanol or electric, it's now a time when many people are looking for any alternative means or method(s) to reduce the rapidly rising cost of gasoline.

This is where the often little known subject of HHO gas, or oxyhydrogen or Aquygen gas comes in. Oxyhydrogen is a mixture of hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) gases, typically in a 2:1 molar ratio, the same proportion as water, hence the chemical "graphic" formula designation of HHO.

The chemical "simple" formula for water is H2O. This chemical "simple" formula we ordinarily write for water conveys no information about the compound's structure- that is, the order in which the atoms are connected by bonding, or how they are arranged in three-dimensional space.

The chemical "graphic" formula for water however is HOH, which also means two parts of hydrogen to one part oxygen, however in the "graphic" formula the one line list of the elements is intended to show the actual physical orientation of the constituent atoms to one another, whereas in the "simple" formula the actual physical orientation of the atoms is left unknown.

In other words from the chemical "graphic" formula for water we can see that the water molecule has an atom of hydrogen to either side of the oxygen atom. But in the chemical "simple" formula, the arrangement of the water atoms is not conveyed. From the chemical "graphic" formula of HOH we can see that it depicts that the chemical substance of water has one hydrogen atom covalently bonded to a single oxygen atom on either side of it.

To expound now a little further, water is the chemical substance with the chemical "simple" formula of H2O: meaning one molecule of water has two hydrogen atoms covalently bonded to a single oxygen atom. Covalently bonded meaning that, the atoms share "valence" electrons between each other such as is discussed in valence bond theory. [4] In short, the attraction-to-repulsion stability that forms between atoms when they share electrons is known as covalent bonding.

Now, enter in American-Italian physicist Professor Ruggero Maria Santilli, proponent if not outright inventor of the theories of hadronic relativity, hadronic mechanics, and hadronic chemistry. There does not seem to exist any more serious of a candidate for a unified field theory about the physical universe than Professor Santilli. And it seems that since his theories fly in the face of traditional science and go against Einsteinian doctrines that Professor Santilli's knowledge has been suppressed and he has been oppressed.

Recommendation of Professor Santilli for the Nobel Prize in Physics was initiated in 1984, and was more recently joined with recommendations for the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. However the technical documentation of the nominations was ignored by the Nobel Foundation due to the granting of prizes in physics and chemistry under lack of solid foundations. [5] Currently the recommendations of Prof. Santilli for the 2007 Nobel Prizes in Physics and Chemistry have since been rendered public.

According to Professor Santilli HHO gas is considered to be an oxygen and hydrogen hybrid which he calls a "magnecule". These hypothetical "magnecules" are a type of chemical species which are distinguished from other known species by containing a novel type of bond called a "magnecular bond", which he claims consists of atoms held together by magnetic fields which arise from toroidal polarization of their electron orbitals, instead of the other commonly known type of valence bond.[6]

In other words HHO gas contains the same two elements as water, hydrogen and oxygen, but rather than being molecularly bonded covalently as in water, in HHO gas, the 2 hydrogen atoms are joined together magnetically by what Santilli describes as a magnecule.

"Magnecules in gases, liquids, and solids consist of stable clusters composed of conventional molecules, and/or dimers (a molecule made up of two simpler identical molecules), and/or individual atoms bonded together by opposing magnetic polarizations of the orbits of at least the peripheral atomic electrons when exposed to sufficiently strong external magnetic fields, as well as the polarization of the intrinsic magnetic moments of nuclei and electrons. A population of magnecules constitutes a chemical species when essentially pure, i.e., when molecules or other species are contained in very small percentages in a directly identifiable, form."[7]

Professor Santilli also wrote "It is indicated that the creation of the gaseous and combustible HHO from distilled water at atmospheric temperature and pressure occurs via a process structurally different than evaporation or separation, thus suggesting the existence of a new form of water, apparently introduced in this paper for the first time, with the structure (H×H)-O where "×" represents the new magnecular bond and "-" the conventional molecular bond. The transition from the conventional H-O-H species to the new (H×H)-O species is predicted by a change of the electric polarization of water caused by the electrolyzer. When H-O-H is liquid, the new species (H×H)-O can only be gaseous, thus explaining the transition of state without evaporation or separation energy. Finally, the new species (H×H)-O is predicted to be unstable and decay into H×H and O, by permitting a plausible interpretation of the anomalous constituents of the HHO gas as well as its anomalous behavior."[8]

For further evidence supporting the fact that HHO gas is not covalently bonded, also consider the following; HHO Gas exhibits a widely varying energy content in BTU (British Thermal Unit), ranging from a relatively cold flame (259 F) in open air to large releases of thermal energy, depending on its use. This is unique to HHO Gas, as all other known fuels have a fixed value of energy content in BTU/SCF (British thermal unit per standard cubic foot). With this variable character of energy content, HHO Gas seems to come equipped with the evidence that the gas has a unique structure and a chemical composition and that it quite possibly does not have bonds of the valence type.

Also, if you put hydrogen magnecule gas in a fuel tank, the car runs 7.47 times the distance on the same tank volume and pressure compared to a car driven by hydrogen molecule gas. Santilli and his hadronic chemistry can explain this with detailed equations, while conventional quantum chemistry can not. Also, in the magnecule exhaust there are ZERO potentially carcinogenic substances, CO2 level is 40 percent down and OXYGEN is delivered from the clean exhaust (12-16 - to an all out whopping and incredible 100 or more after installing their HHO systems in their cars. [10]

And even though there is the matter that water fueled cars have been considered as figments of the imagination or that they are somehow mythological until their conception and acceptance in the so called real world. They have been incorporated into the real world now.[11] One possible reason that so many seem to snub what is clearly relevant and claim that they do not exist is possibly because they may believe that water fueled cars run "solely on water" and also that it could bring massive loss to the gasoline and other gasoline products markets. Yet all the time, and in actuality, hybrids, as they are called, are named such because they run on both gasoline and water. [12]

To run your car on HHO from water in your vehicle is fairly easy and can be done without any extensive knowledge of automobiles. Of course, having a little "hands on" experience of cars is a definite plus, but it isn't an absolute prerequisite. Installing an HHO generator/converter which passes an electric current (DC) through the water will split the H2o molecule (via electrolysis) thereby releasing hydrogen and oxygen atoms into a more gaseous and energetic form.

The HHO generation system for your car usually consists of a container which attaches easily to the inside of your engine compartment and you simply hook it up according to the installation instructions. You will also want to make sure the HHO gas reaches the combustion chamber and the electricity reaches the water to ensure that the proper chemical reaction takes place.

Also, be aware that if you have a newer model vehicle with an oxygen sensor, you may need to purchase an "over-ride" chip to account for the changes in air-fuel ratio. And simply because you are running your car on water does not mean that you need to fill an entire tank with water. A single jar of water can last for several months as it expands to approximately two thousand gallons of combustible HHO gas. With 1 liter of water you should be able to drive around 900 miles. Of course it depends on your vehicle.

With the gas crisis being as real as it is, water fueled cars may be the start of a brand new and economical solution. By utilizing HHO Gas from the electrolysis process, water fueled cars will emit oxygen in the air. This will help reduce pollution and thereby will also make earth a better place to live.

Water fueled cars can provide the first consumer-centered movement toward better fuel efficiency, cleaner emissions, and reduced operating costs. If you are interested in pursuing this technology further and you're confused about where to start you can go to the links in the resource box.

Best Gas Mileage - High Gas Prices

What does it take to fill your tank? I'm talking about your car, truck, mini-van, or SUV. In recent times it seems that we've hit the high gas prices. No matter where I turn, the mere gallon is sky-rocketing on signs across town. What is the deal? When is our president going to aid us with this dilemma? For some odd reason, he doesn't seem to mind the ridiculous prices. Who would have guessed? Regardless, the price of fuel only seems to increase. If you're like me, you probably get your hopes up when you see it drop for a short time, but then it climbs right back up there. Will the madness ever end? Unfortunately the answer is probably a depressing NO.

High Gas Prices by StateWhich state do you call home? This relates back to the highest gas prices whether you like it or not. Those who inhabit California, Oregon, and Idaho sure aren't getting off the hook when it comes time to fill up the tank. You can get the skinny on the 10 states that grapple with the highest gas prices simply by popping open your Google search engine. The funny part concerns all these Americans who ran out and purchased a gargantuan SUV in recent years. I love seeing them drive around like they're living the American dream. Half of them don't even appear to have families, which has to make you wonder. I guess if you want to spend 70-80 bucks filling up your gas tank, that's all you. However, many of us could down size to a smaller and more efficient vehicle that would not only save oodles of cash, but help out the environment in the process.

I can recall back in the day when gas was less than a dollar per gallon. What in the world happened since then? I know not that many years have gone by. It's sad to see these absurd gas prices persist. While it may seem like a shot to the man in charge, I don't think we'll see any changes until someone else is in the White House. However, since the majority of us require gasoline for our daily means of transportation, we must find ways to avoid and/or deal with the current highest gas prices. Find tips online regarding how to save fuel. Check out the top ten states that are burdened with highest gas prices nation wide. In addition, you can always look into an alternative vehicle with better gas mileage than that SUV you're cruising around in.

Best Gas Mileage - Ways To Increase Gas Mileage

I am going to share some tips (based on my research) on how to reduce the petrol bill, even before you fill your tank - these tips are specifically about car usage…

Tyres: Pump up your tyres regularly. The tyres should neither be under-inflated or over-inflated. Your car manual will tell you what pressure your tyres should be at - Check regularly and make sure you stick to it. The tyres lose around one psi pressure per month and a tyre deflated by two psi will lead to one percent increase in fuel consumption.

Type Of Petrol: Only high performance cars require the higher grade petrol…If your car does not require high grade petrol then that petrol will usually not make any difference to the performance of the car. So check the car manual or with the manufacturer and use only the right petrol.

Service: Service your car regularly - This will identify any problems and fixing the problems will increase your fuel economy. Not all problems with a car will be obvious - servicing the cars will uncover them.

Idle Engine: Idling for more than a minute consumes much more fuel than restarting an engine. So when you are stationary or held up for long periods of time then switch off your engine.

Strong Acceleration: Drive smoothly and at a moderate speed - don't travel at high speeds. If you need to accelerate then accelerate gradually. When the accelerator is depressed, the engine goes into a "fuel-enrichment" mode. Any speed higher than 90 kmph can waste fuel…On highways, using cruise control can reduce fuel consumption.

Travel Light: Don't dump your car with things you don't need for your travel. On average, every 50kg added load in your car will increase fuel consumption by two per cent.

Right Time: If possible avoid peak times. Constant braking and constant acceleration can increase your fuel consumption.

Accessories Of A Car: Roof racks or additional parts on the exterior of a car can increase aerodynamic drag - which increases fuel consumption. Apparently even leaving the windows open can increase aerodynamic drag…(aerodynamic drag was quite complex for me to understand but after reading a few pages this is my conclusion about what it is - it is simply 'resistance to motion'.)

Air Conditioning: Use air con sparingly…If you are on highways using air con is better than leaving the windows open.

Manual Car: Make sure you are using the right gear…

Short Trips: Well I guess this is common sense - Use your feet for short trips and this will not only reduce your waist line but will also save you money.

Almost There: Don't wait till your tank is all empty - If you do this then you have to drive to the nearest petrol station and you might not be able to use your petrol vouchers at the nearest station ….Nor will you be able to compare prices.

Best Gas Mileage - Keeping a Food Diary to Lose Weight

As a child, you may have kept a diary to record your daily activities, your hopes, and your fears. If you wrote in the diary each day, it might have seemed as if the diary itself had become one of your best friends. As you grew older, the diary might have become a record of your job search, love life, or wedding plans. Psychologists, in fact, tell us that writing down your goals can be the first step to achieving them. It has been demonstrated that individuals who kept a written record of their hunt for employment were more likely to find the job they wanted than those who did not.

It's not surprising, then, that some dieticians recommend keeping a food diary or journal if you're hoping to lose weight. If you're not accustomed to writing, the idea can seem a bit daunting at first. After all, if you don't seem to have the time to record all of your baby's "firsts"—the first words, the first steps, the first day of reciting the alphabet—how can you be expected to find the time to write down everything that passes through your lips? It's a valid question; however, if you stop to consider just how much time you spend eating, surely you can find the time to write down what you eat.

The key to keeping a food diary is motivation. You have to have a desire to record your food choices. One good way to do this is to place a picture of your heaviest self onto the cover of a notebook. Also, make sure that you keep the notebook in full view, either on your bedside table or on the kitchen table. This could provide you with just the incentive you need to make note of what you're eating. Another motivating factor could be to log your daily weight at the beginning of each diary entry. That way, you can see if your dietary choices are having an effect on your weight. If you find that you are shedding pounds, you can affix a gold star next to your entry. The gold star can provide the psychological boost necessary to continue to lose weight.

Of course, the next question you'll face is: What exactly should I write down for each entry? To begin with, just include a running list of foods, along with portion sizes. You might be surprised to find out not only what you're eating, but also how large the portions are. Next, categorize each food entry. Is it a fruit, vegetable, whole grain, or fat? Such information could be vitally important in determining where your excess pounds are coming from.

You can also use your journal for meal planning. If you think about what you should eat ahead of time, you'll be less likely to indulge in the wrong foods. Such planning can make you feel more organized and more in control—two important elements for losing weight.

If you indulge in comfort food every once in a while, don't panic. Eating high-calorie foods occasionally can help prevent a feeling of deprivation which can lead to overeating. The key is to eat "bad foods" in moderation. It is also important that you write down everything you eat, including fatty foods. Trying to hide your food choices by not writing them down is counter-productive and could lead to feelings of guilt.

Yet another helpful idea is to write down your goal weight each day. This can be an important element of psychological warfare. Knowing what your goal is—and mapping out a way to get there—can improve your chances of achieving critical milestones.

Also, when possible, try to make your diary experience fun. Do your writing on the patio, by the pool, or in your bathtub. Set the mood by playing some of your favorite music in the background. Decorate your diary by using colored pens or colorful stickers. Whatever you can do to make your diary-keeping chores more interesting will certainly be helpful.

Be aware of the fact that it could take you a while to get into the diary-keeping habit. But, once you see those pounds melt away, you'll find it's well worth the investment of time and energy.

BUT whenever something as earth-shattering as this one befalls us, MYRIADS of doubts and questions arise. And one of the frequently asked questions is - "What are the ins and outs behind this water-for-fuel system?"

And asking that question is perfectly understandable.

To get the most out of this juicy gadget, you NEED to know the ins and outs of how it works to your advantage.

That's exactly what you'll get RIGHT HERE - the ins and outs of how this super gas saver works. This will ultimately give you a more vivid image of how it will soon save you from the fangs of ever-increasing fuel costs and enhance your vehicle's mileage at the same time!

Improve My Gas Mileage NOW Fact 1 - A Step You Can't Afford To Skip

When it was released from the factory, your car is meant to run on ordinary gasoline alone.

So what's the first step to get your car running with water?

Getting your car converted is a MUST. Worry NOT, though. Converting your car doesn't mean you have to modify or alter your car's current systems and parts. BUT getting it converted means it will be able to run using gasoline and water.

Giving you more security, you now have the option of switching to gasoline should the run-car-on-water gadget break down (which RARELY happens).

Improve My Gas Mileage NOW Fact 2 - The Reliable 'Ingredient'

Building your water-for-fuel gadget on quality and durable stuff is your PRIORITYenabling it to stand even against high temperature!

In light of that, I give using CPCVC pipes a thumbs up. The same pipes have been proven to be strong enough to take heavy punishment against different elements, which is why it's a favorite when constructing buildings, furniture, etc.

The pipes will function as electrodes that separate hydrogen and oxygen, which will be extracted from water. And you'll later see how CRITICAL this process is to get your car running on water.

Improve My Gas Mileage NOW Fact 3 - The Key Process

So what's this key process? It's water electrolysis, and it will pump out HHO (or Brown's Gas) known to be thrice as powerful YET safe than your usual (and expensive) car fuel.

By using the power supplied from your car's battery, the water is shattered down to its hydrogen and oxygen molecules, and the hydrogen is taken to the engines combustion chamber.

That hydrogen will be used for generating combustion which is responsible for getting your car on the road and doing great.

Best Gas Mileage - Save Gas Through Simple Maintenances

If you drive even somewhat regularly, it is likely that you are as sick of high gas prices as the rest of us are. However, there is very little that any of us can do to directly affect the price of gas, so we are forced to turn our attention to doing whatever we can to limit the amount of gas that we use. You may or may not be aware that there are very easy methods for increasing the gas mileage you get in your car, van, truck or sport utility vehicle. In fact, many of the ways that you can help your vehicle's gas mileage are through simple maintenance that you should be performing on your vehicle anyway!

It is unfortunate that many who are attempting to escape high gas prices have turned to costly products that claim they can help your vehicle get more gas mileage. Of course, it makes little sense to spend money in order to save money, particularly when these products are largely unproven to begin with. That is why when you are trying to dramatically increase your vehicle's gas mileage, it is better to stick to the more reliable, more basic methods instead. These methods definitely include performing the regular maintenance that your car requires already.

Most drivers are fairly diligent about getting oil changes regularly for their vehicle. After all, regular oil changes are among the most fundamental (and cheap) ways to maintain your vehicle's performance and condition. Many people do not know, however, that regular oil changes also help to limit fuel consumption! That means that you will save money in the end, even if you have to spend money to perform an oil change or have one done for you. Also, while you're at it, make sure that your car is running on the appropriate grade of oil. This can reduce your fuel consumption by one or two percent.

One of the better ways to easily increase your car's gas mileage is also one of the easiest. The next time you pull up to a gas station or car wash that has an air pump, check the air pressure in your tires and add air, if necessary. At many gas stations or car washes, this will not cost you anything. Even if the only machine you can find is a pay machine, it will still likely only cost you as much as fifty cents. The price (or lack thereof) and simplicity of this method makes it a great way to help keep yourself away from the gas pump.

Another type of regular maintenance that your car requires consists of regular tune-ups. Tune-ups help to ensure that your car is performing as well as it should be, including in respect to gas mileage. Also, most tune-ups include a check of other important areas, which may reveal a problem with your car that is costing you valuable gas mileage. Fixing many of these areas may result in drastically improved performance and gas mileage, so that is a side benefit of tuning your car, as well.

The vehicle maintenance that will net you the most improved gas mileage is definitely that of checking and replacing dirty, clogged air filters. If your air filters are filthy, make sure to switch them out with clean, new ones right away! Doing so can boost your gas mileage by one-tenth! That is a pretty significant amount when you consider today's unsavory gas prices. Think about one-tenth of a gallon of gas where you live. That's how much you can expect to save, per gallon, if you drive with clean (rather than a dirty) air filters.

These types of relatively simple vehicle maintenance prove once and for all that it is not necessary to buy costly products to increase your gas mileage. Simply do the maintenance that you should already be doing for your car, and you will reap the benefits!

Best Gas Mileage - Water4Gas Scam Challenge - Is It Another HHO Generator Scam?

"Double or even triple your mileage and save hundreds of $$ on fuel costs by using water as your vehicle's fuel."

"That sounds too good to be true!" you might be telling yourself.

Guess what - we're having the same train of thought when I stumbled upon the Water4Gas' website.

Not only are they saying that you'll dramatically cut down your fuel expenses and boost your car's mileage. They even claim this to be a cut above the rest of the gas savers options out there even against hydrogen tanks!

And as if that's not enough, Water4Gas even claims that the HHO generators you'll soon be constructing with their downloadable manual should empower your car with hydrogen when it needs it.

Here's what, if you've purchased a lot of downloadable stuffs from the net, I'm sure this sounds like a sly scam to you!

The use of water as the best of all the gas savers around and as HHO generators all sound too good to be true.

Think about it ? isn't this stop for mechanical engineers and physicists? And this website is telling me I can create one with ease?

Not to mention you're NOT dealing with some ordinary technical stuffs here. It's something even mechanical experts and engineers have a hard time pondering on!

And I hate to admit even MORE that what they're claiming on the website was TRUE.. every bit of it!

Here's a glimpse of what I'm talking about - water (H2O) when broken down in its basic form is identical to the components of Brown's Gas (HHO), which is 3 times as powerful and as efficient as ordinary gasoline.

With these truths and facts, the power of Water4Gas and the HHO generators you'll soon be creating is undoubtedly head and shoulders above the rest of the gas savers known to man.

Have you got a toolbox with all the basic tools? Good! That's everything you need (PLUS the HHO generators manual) to experience the savings and

It all boils down to the electrolysis of water (by using your car's batteries). This process will take care of splitting water's molecules and forming the famed Brown's Gas from itthe very substance that will do wonders for your car.

And what results have we got here?

Let's check out what I'm enjoying so far with my own HHO generator

- Whopping savings of $100 or so every month

- My car has clearer emissions (with lesser pollutants)

- And my car's parts (especially the engine) is running smoother and quieter than ever

As for the savings department, the figures keep increasing every month!

I'd say it's worth every penny I spent on the Water4Gas manual and worth every minute spent on reading and creating the HHO generators that will serve me well for the months to come.

Best Gas Mileage - Water Gas Power - Saving You Money

Alternative fuel sources to power our homes, cars, and equipment are being developed on a regular basis in the aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and eliminate the toxic substances that are sent into the air we breathe everyday. Researchers and scientists are coming up with new solutions to try and solve the problems we face in the future as more and more emissions are messing up the planet and endangering the environment. Test models of vehicles that run on water gas power have hit the streets and are proving to be quite efficient as well as environmentally friendly. Acid rain and smog could be a thing of the past as the only thing emitted from the tailpipes of these cars is steam. The planet would have a chance to recover from years of damage if given the opportunity.

These cars will use hydrogen fuel cells to power them and they will be much more economical to operate and much more friendly to our environment in that the only emissions from their tailpipes will be steam. At this stage, there are some problems to be solved with the fuel cells but experts agree that solutions will be found before long and the cost of production will decrease to make them affordable for most people.

Researchers have been warning us for years that the environment is being severely damaged by all the toxins we are releasing into our air. Oxygen levels have been reported to be lower and the effects of greenhouses gases are increasing. Cars that operate on water gas power can have a beneficial effect on the planet by replenishing oxygen levels as steam is condensed when released into the atmosphere. Water vapor is also a result of condensation and will replace the water used to fuel these vehicles as it falls back to earth. Some scientists agree that greenhouse gases have raised water levels in our oceans already due to melting glaciers, and that if this continues we may have too much water on the planet. What better way to utilize a natural resource than to use it as fuel to power the numerous vehicles driven around.

Many people have different opinions on the subject of the environment and how to improve the health of the planet and our living conditions. The use of hydrogen fuel cells for the operation of much of the equipment we drive, heat our homes with, and rely on can reduce the impact and damage inflicted to our surroundings by the side effects of burning fossil fuels. Some scientists believe that it is still not too late to stop the harm we are doing and give the planet a chance to recover.

Have you wondered if you could run you vehicle on water gas power? You can, by simply adding a small system to your vehicle's engine. Learn how you can save money on gas, and discover advancements being made for vehicles to run solely on hydrogen fuel cells, by visiting

Best Gas Mileage - Help how to improve my gas mileage

I sound kind of despairing don't I. Well with the prices like they are I am in pain. I drive round trip 142 miles per day. Google told me what to do after doing searches for many gas saving terms such as ways to improve my gas fuel, save money on gas and save gas.

There were so many items that after a while I realised I had all the items and some. I found so many ways to improve my gas gas that I now get 32% more fuel per gallon. With all this data I decided to put up a internet site that reviews all the ways to improve my gas gas.

If you have the same issue I think you will observe the site a neat resource. You will uncover staple suggestions and the best items on the market to improve my gas fuel.Starting out the fastest way is to get your automobile geared up. That means get a new air filter(this is huge), fill tires to the right pressure, utilize synthetic oil(best performance), get the debris out of your trunk(more weight cost you 1% per 100lbs) and utilize a system cleaner especially for the fuel injectors. Now the auto is set up to improve my gas gas so lead off by altering your driving methods.

Hypermiling is the new tip and essentially it is making less utilize of the brake and more looking ahead which means get a coasting instead of braking to improve my gas fuel. You will see much more on Hypermiling at the site. If you are going to idle 60 seconds then turn off the engine.

Under 40mph do not utilize the air conditioning unless needed. Over 40mph the drag from the open windows kind of equals out with the air conditioning.

Best Gas Mileage - Avoid Out Of Control Gas Prices by Using The New Fuel--WATER

Avoid Out Of Control Gas Prices by Using The New Fuel--WATER

by: Randy Barney

What you need to know...

Engines waste tons of gasoline! Up to 80% of the gas that

you pump doesn't get used because it goes UNBURNED to the

catalytic converter. That means you are getting 0 MPG from

most of the expensive gasoline you buy.

WHY DO automobile ENGINES WASTE SO MUCH GAS?

There are some that would say that's what they are

designed to do--WASTE GAS--The theory here is that the more

gas is burned the bigger the pockets of the oil companies

get. That of course is a fact. I'll leave it up to you to

decide if you believe the conspiracy therory or not.

It is said that automotive and fuel technology have been

deliberately held back. There are all kind of stories

about AMAZING inventions and discoveries, It would seem

that people have been kept in the dark in order to sell us

lots of gasoline.

Now for the technical stuff...

If the gas was preheated it would create better combustion-

-but it's not. If the fuel vapor droplets were smaller they

would create more efficient combustion--but they're not.

The computer-controlled air-to-fuel ratio could be

configured to be more economical--but it's not. There are

actually patents that address having the exhaust

reprocessed to contribute to mileage --but it's not. There

was a design for a 100 MPG carburetor years ago, but it

seems to have dissapeared. Cars could actually be running

on water fuel--but they're not because those patents kind

of dissappeared also. Even the hybrids that that have

become so popular don't optimize gasoline combustion and

consumption as well as they should.

So why am I telling you all this?

Because you can do something about it, starting with YOUR

own car.

How? By using ENERGY from plain old ordinary WATER.

I know that probably sounds impossible. of course it

does, it's beyond our current reality. But so were LCD tv's

mount in vans and SUV's 20 years ago.

This type of water energy system I am referring to is

actually quite simple. Not only simple but very

affordable. This is also a system that a do it your selfer

can tackle out in thier own garage. It can actually be

built at home for $20 to $200 worth of parts and installed

in your car in a very short period of time. I am talking

about an old technology that has been revamped and designed

into a simple, affordable, SAFE system based on affordable

hardware.

How does it work?

The main part of the affordable water energy system is an

electrolyzer-a container of water with electrodes in it.

The electrolyzer use a portion of electricity from your

vehicle. The electricity "splits" water into hydroxyl gas

and feeds it immediately to the engine cylinders. The

improved air/fuel mix gets very efficient combustion.

Remember how I told you that current engine technology

burns off 80% of your gasoline?

Now think about this... with this situation, all of your

gasoline is being used--no longer is it just being turned

into carbon deposits on your engine. Imagine ALL that

gasoline giving you mileage? Think of the improved

economics. And all due to energy from water.

Do you have any idea how much energy is in water?

One gallon of water converts to approximately 1,833

gallons of combustible gas. Feedback from one person that

installed the system said that one gallon of water in his

water energy system lasted for about 2,700 miles.

The fact is that there are zillions of hydrogen and oxygen

atoms ready to break out and beome combustible gas under

the in the correct environment!Understanding that helps us

see that, indeed, water can be "burned" in an engine.

Do you wonder why you don't see this in headline news?

Think about it... Do you hear anything positive in the

news any more? Negative news sells more, it contributes to

higher ratings. Why don't scientists tell us about this?

sometimes they just don't know about it. It is also a

fact, that scientist all have thier own niche area of which

they focus on. Unless they are directly involved in a

project. I may pass completely by them unnoticed.

THE LAW OF CONSERVATION

Here is an interesting article to think about from Patrick

J. Kelly of He has a

approach to getting you to think outside the box:

"The Law of Conservation of Energy is undoubtedly correct

when it shows that more energy cannot be taken out of any

system than is put into that system. However, that does not

mean that WE cannot get more energy out of a system than WE

put into it. A crude example is a solar panel in sunlight.

We get electrical power out of the panel but we do not put

the sunlight into the panel-the sunlight arrives on its

own. This example is simple as we can see the sunlight

reaching the solar panel.

"If, instead of the solar panel, we had a device which

absorbs some of the energy that Quantum Mechanics observes

and then gives out, say, electrical power, would that be so

different? Most people say "yes!--it is impossible!" but

this reaction is based on the fact that we cannot see this

sea of energy. Should we say that a TV set cannot possibly

work because we cannot see a television transmission

signal?"

Is it safe?

We already drive around with a tank full of flamable and

explosive gas.

But with the water energy system, it does not use tanks of

compressed hydrogen.

Hydrogen is already compressed in plain water!

what happens in a water for fuel system is the hydrogen is

UNCOMPRESSED and used immediately, on-demand, in the

engine! It uses a container of distilled water! And the

exhaust is well... you guessed it --WATER! The water is

split, the water is burned, and you get fantastic mileage,

you get a little water whats left over.

Are you into GREEN TECHNOLOGY?

As you can see, this is a very green concept. The only

example of something greener is an engine that runs

completely on water. There was one, it was designed and

proven by Stanley Meyers. He drove across the United

States on approximately 28 gallons of water. (You can see

interviews with him on YouTube.) It doesn't get any more

affordable that this. And because this is GREEN technology,

the government will pay for going green!

INSTALLATION

You CAN pay someone to install your water for gas system.

there are many people all over the world that are fimiliar

with this system. They enjoy the benefits every day on

converting water to fuel. Since they are so sold on this

concept, most of them would love to assist you in getting

yours up and running.

Of course you can also do it yourself, complete

instructions, are available. Then you would create a parts

list and purchase the parts from hardware and electronics

stores. lastly, you would construct the components of the

water energy system, combine them all together, and install

the system, making all the necessary adjustments to it. You

would now be the proud owner of a Water Hybrid Vehicle.

BETTER COMBUSTION FOR THE mind

Perhaps the most important thing is this:

Trust yourself.

When you go against the popular thought with any new idea.

All of those experts out there will tell your crazy, it

can't be done, it won't work. But what really make's

anyone an expert if they haven't tried the technology

themselves. What kind of gas mileage are they getting?

All the great minds and inventors were thought to be a bit

crazy...it appears that it takes a little craziness to come

up with change!

WHAT CAN A WATER ENERGY SYSTEM do for you?

Well think about it this way…

How much did you pay the last time you bought gas?

A water energy system won't lower the price gasoline all

over the world.

It will just lower the price of YOURS, but that is a good

start, isn't it? But don't just take my word for it check

it out your self.

Randy Barney is an internet marketing expert and free

lance author, who stumbled across this technology quite by

accident. This is the greatest accidental discovery he has

made to date.

Best Gas Mileage - Steps To Achieve Better Gas Mileage

How can I get better gas mileage? With the price of gas well over $4 these days, this is a question that is on about everyone's mind today. Everyone is feeling the pain at the gas pump, and it can be difficult for many people to fill up their tank with gas prices so high. More than every before people are beginning to ask how to get better gas mileage, and thankfully, there are some things that can be done to increase the mileage that you get out of your gas.

Try Using Your Cruise Control More. One thing that you can do to help get better gas mileage is to try using your cruise control a bit more. Since using the cruise control can help you keep at a steady speed, it can help with getting better gas mileage. However, this only works when you are driving on roads that are primarily flat. If you're going to be driving on roads that are fairly flat, then using the cruise is a great idea that will help you to save at the pump.

Clean Your Car. Believe it or not, keeping your car clean on the outside can improve your fuel economy as well. You should make sure that you keep your car washed and waxed. Doing this on a regular basis actually helps to improve the aerodynamics of your car, while will affect the fuel mileage you get on your vehicle. This in fact, is so important that it can actually improve your fuel economy by about 7%, which is a substantial savings.

Avoid Idling as Much as Possible. Idling can really start killing your gas mileage, so you'll want to avoid it as much as possible. You're using fuel when you are idling but you aren't even moving. This means you're actually getting 0 mpg at this time. When you let your car continually run when you're waiting on someone in the store or even sitting at a drive through, you are actually wasting your gas. You'll be better off to turn off your car and then restart it instead of letting it idle so much.

Don't Run the Air if You Don't Have To. If you don't absolutely have to, avoid running the air conditioning as well. However, at some times it can be better to keep the air running. Usually if you are out on the highway traveling fast, it's better to keep the windows shut and run the air conditioning; however, if you're driving at slower speeds around town, you'll save by keeping the windows down.

Try Going Greener. Going greener can also help you to get better gas mileage as well. There are a variety of additives that can be added to your gas tank today that help you to reduce the emissions of your vehicle. However, not only do many of them reduce emissions for you, but they also help you to improve your gas mileage to. You'll find various gas additives to choose from, so going green can help you save too.

Best Gas Mileage - Top Ten ways to Improve Gas Mileage. Simple tips to get more MPG for your car.

Lets face it the price of gas is still rising and there is very little chance that it will ever fall back down to what it was. In fact the experts are predicting that it is going to get a lot worse, and this is sending many drivers into a frenzy trying to find ways to improve gas mileage and squeeze every last drop of gas out of their cars to get more MPG.

So just what can we do to get more MPG from our cars? Just a quick look on the internet will turn up hundreds of so called "gas mileage devices" that promise to get more MPG from your engine. Now I'm not saying that all these gas mileage devices are scams, but a lot of them sound pretty far fetched. With this in mind I have done some research and come up with ten ways to improve gas mileage using tips that most experts agree actually work.

1) This one is so obvious that it often gets overlooked. Make sure that your gas cap is in good condition and that the seal is not worn or broken. A loose or poor fitting gas cap will allow gas vapour to leak out, wasting precious fuel. As much as 17 gallons of gas a year can be lost due to a faulty gas cap. Also if and when you do replace it make sure you get a locking one as the rise in gas prices increases the rise in gas theft.

2) Stick with the right type of gas for your particular vehicle by using the correct octane rating that is recommended for it. A higher octane rated fuel such as premium will have little benefit for an engine designed to run on regular gas.

3) Don't let your engine idle for long periods. An engine that idles for 15 minutes can waste up to a gallon of gas.

4) Drive at a reasonable speed. The faster you drive the less fuel efficient your engine is, keeping your speed down is one of the best ways to improve gas mileage.

5) Make sure that your air filter is cleaned regularly. A clogged air filter will drastically reduce your fuel efficiency, so check it on a regular basis, especially if you drive on dirt roads where it will clog up quicker.

6) Don't forget your other filters. Routinely check your fuel filter and the PCU valve and breather filter. Replacing these can improve gas mileage by up to 15%

7) Get a mechanic to check your oxygen sensors. A faulty oxygen sensor can send more gas to the engine than it really needs to run efficiently.

8) Don't be a jack-rabbit driver. Always accelerate and break slowly (except in an emergency obviously). Fast accelerating and aggressive breaking will also reduce your fuel economy.

9) Keep your tires in good condition and check pressures regularly. A flat tire is a drag and will cost you gas.

10) Try to keep your weight down. All that junk you carry around in your trunk (the stuff you never use) is just adding to your gas bill.

These are just 10 simple ways to improve gas mileage and get more MPG for your car. There are many more and most of them are just common sense, so even if you don't invest in one of the new gas mileage devices on sale you can still make some savings and get more MPG for your car.

Discover for yourself even more ways to make real gas mileage improvements and cut your gasoline consumption in half with simple Step-By-Step guides to show you how.

Best Gas Mileage - Run Your Car On Cooking Oil?

Before diesel became common slang for somebody large and robust or just hardcore, it mostly applied to machinery that were big tough strong work horses. Trucks, tractor-trailers, large earthmoving machinery, which catered for the heavy duty industrial work force. But it was never that popular as fuel for conventional everyday cars, which is really a shame, because diesel could have saved the consumer lots of money.

Diesel a less refined version of gasoline, all up it can costs the oil companies that make it around twenty five percent less per gallon to manufacture, although in saying that the end product itself usually costs a bit more than gasoline.

The advantage's of using diesel is that it gets a lot better when it comes to fuel economy and produces far less pollution than the regular gasoline, which is few of many reasons why it's very popular in the industrial sector (mining, farming etc). There's no particular known reason why diesel was never so popular for everyday conventional vehicles, aside from the fact that diesel engines were initially designed for industrial and 4x4 vehicles and have always had that association together.

Prices for diesel are rising just like gas prices are, so they are not becoming very popular as a option to save on gas. This is compounded by the fact that most diesel vehicles that the average person would use are either pick up trucks 4x4 vehicles, not especially popular for city driving, or the imported foreign cars that may be hard to find.

Where diesel vehicles have an advantage is that, unlike your typical everyday vehicles, they can burn various types of fuels, all of which fall under the general definition of diesel. The very popular one we hear about most often, and the one that's become most common more and more everyday, is biodiesel.

As the name biodiesel might have you thinking, biodiesel is produced from organic sources. It's has become so commercially popular that it's become necessary to make the distinction about what kind of diesel you're refering to.

Unfortunately, biodiesel is not any cheaper than the regular stuff as once was, so while using it might make you feel a lot better about using a sustainable resource, it is not going to do much to improve your gas bill.

Did you know that there is another type of biodiesel out there. Suprisingly you can actually put used cooking oil in your diesel car, it will run without any kind of modification to the engine. This may be surprising most of you, this is no accidental discovery as this is exactly what diesel engines were designed to do.

The man responsible for this brilliant idea was Rudolf Diesel he invented the diesel engine, his objective was to create an engine that would run on vegetable oil, so that small farmers could compete with those who could afford the more expensive gasoline machinery.

Now this is an opportunity to save your hard earned cash. Also doing the right thing for the environment. If you have a diesel vehicle/engine, you can run it entirely on oils that your average local restaurant. this will give them the the opportunity to dispose of the old cooking oils also doing there bit for the enviroment. 99% of the time, they'll be happy to see you take it of there hands. After all it cost them money to dispose of the used cooking oils.

It's very much possible to run your car for free. If you' willing to put in the work and learn more about using vegetable oil to run your car,Which, you have to admit to yourself, it is a pretty big improvement over four dollars a gallon.

In order to comprehend the skyrocketing prices, it's necessary to look at what goes into the price per litre we pay at the pump? Why Are Gas Prices So High Now? There's no one single answer. To comprehend why the prices are so high,

Best Gas Mileage - Hypermiling? Meet Wayne “100 MPG” Gerdes

Who coined LOL? Or OMG? Although the internet is young, we will probably never know. Like it is supposed to be with slang. Different story with the term Hypermiling though. It is said to have been coined by Wayne Gerdes, aka "Wayne 100 MPG" or "Mister Hypermileage".

If you aren't familiar with the term 'Hypermiling", here is a quick and dirty run down: it is about people who use tips, tricks, a bit of technology and driving strategies to squeeze every last ounce of mileage out of a gallon of gas.

Your car probably averages 20 miles per gallon (MPG). Theirs 40, 50 or more.

Wayne Gerdes once got an average of more than 100 mpg from a standard-issue Ford pickup truck over the course of three months.

Wayne Gerdes clearly knows how to empower every last drop of gasoline. He is what we "normal people" consider to be an obsessed hypermiler. As my mom would say "He's got too much time on his hands".

What's interesting though, is that more and more every day Joes and Jills begin to see hypermiling as a daily routine. Not just because the fun of it, but because of today's gas prices and the fear of tomorrows gas prices. The pressure from pump shock is what's driving these average drivers into hypermiling. Lets face it. Today's gas prices rule many household budgets.

Unlike the hypermiler pros, who see it as a form of competitive sport, these every day hypermilers are not after record breaking MPG's. They are perfectly happy if hypermiling helps them to extended the time between fill-ups.

Hard? Not at all. In fact, many of these tricks and tips are so easy to implement that it will truly surprise you. Increasing your car's mileage by 25% is doable for everyone. All it takes is some discipline and an easy to follow Hypermiling manual.

HyperMiling, the noble art of squeezing every mile out of a gallon, isn't hard at all. In fact, many of the gas saving tips in Kenneth Kender's HyperMiling Manual, are so easy to implement that it will truly surprise you. His book is a kick start to learn how to improve your car's MPG by 25-40%, the next time you pull out of your driveway.

Best Gas Mileage - Better Gas Mileage In 3 Easy Steps

With gas prices through the roof, almost every other day, another writer comes out with a "top ten ways to save on gas" article. We did it too a while back, but really, most of the savings can be achieved with only a few essentials.

Actually, assuming that your car is in relatively good shape and well maintained, you really only need to concentrate on three things to get the bulk of the gas savings that are possible. In fact, if you're a "typical" driver, it would not be unusual to add 30% or more to your mileage simply by following the advice below.

The worst offender is aggressive driving.

The most significant factor in saving gas is how you drive. If you have a habit of stepping on the gas aggressively every time you get going, and waiting until the last minute to step on the brake, it's costing you plenty more than it has to at the pump.

Always think ahead when you're behind the wheel. Whenever starting and stopping, try to make your acceleration and deceleration as smooth as possible. Instead of getting to the posted speed limit as fast as possible, aim for a smooth and gradual acceleration. Same thing with stopping. If you can see a red light up ahead, take your foot off the gas and coast until you have to apply the brake, instead of keeping your foot on the gas pedal and braking at the last minute.

By working with momentum and gravity, you can make driving a bit of a game and have some fun while saving gas. As you approach an incline, you could try to build up a bit of speed so that the momentum reduces the need for stepping on the gas as much while going up the hill, and conversely, let gravity help you when going downhill.

If you're not going anywhere, turn off the engine.

This applies as much to warming up the car in cold climates, as it does when idling and waiting in line for something or other while in your car.

If you live in a cold climate, simply dress a bit warmer, and let your vehicle get warm as you drive. Your car needs no more than 30 - 45 seconds of idling time in cold weather, to reach a reasonable operating temperature.

If you can see that you're likely to be stopped for more than a minute, it probably makes sense to turn off the engine for a while. It definitely does in terms of saving gas.

3) Drive at or slightly below the speed limit (drive slower)

It's just a fact that driving slower under normal conditions uses less gas (much less actually). You can actually accomplish several things by driving slower, like: increased safety margins, avoided speeding tickets, and of course, it's one of the best ways to really save on gas.

Just move over to the slow lane, and save yourself the aggravation of having someone behind you getting all irritated because you're driving at the speed limit. The time savings of going fast just don't equal the long term benefits of driving at the speed limit. Another benefit of which could be lower car insurance rates because of a better driving record.

There you have it. You don't need to read anymore of those "top ten ways to save on gas" or "37 gas savings tips" articles.

The truth is that if you follow the advice outlined above, you'll be saving most of what is possible, without wasting your time on things that simply don't matter that much in terms of real gas savings.

Best Gas Mileage - Water Fuel Cars - Top 7 Secrets To Improve Mileage

You can make savings on gas mileage of up to 50% and if you take a look at how fuel prices are just soaring at the moment., well you might just be interested in this, especially if you are a multi-vehicle family. This would be an important chance for you to make a significant move in helping with reducing current global warming.

The good news is there are many different ways to improve mileage, save money, and help the environment too, including a few you may not have ever even thought of:

Secret #1: The is a temperature factor that plays a part in how much you are going to spend filling up your car with fuel. What happens is that gas expands expands under cooler temperatures so you will need less to fill up, so if it is hot the next time you need to, you should leave it to night time.

Secret #2: Maintaining a car properly will also help with fuel consumption as a poorly maintained car can waste up to 15% on fuel consumption. It is very important to clean your filters, replace faulty spark plugs or injectors and to change the oil every 3,000 miles, improving efficiency if you use a synthetic oil like Mobile One.

Secret #3: Make sure to keep the proper air pressure in your tires. Low pressure means you car has to work harder to drive the wheels, which is tougher on the engine. However, don't over -inflate them either. Stick to the pressure stated on the sidewall, and check when the tires are cool, before you drive.

Secret #4: Excess weight - You will also improve fuel consumption when driving light,so make sure you always take any heavy stuff out of the trunk. You will also notice that a light car responds better and you feel like you are going faster. Secret #5: Speed - By reducing your speed from 75 MPH to 55 MPH you will save an incredible 20% on fuel consumption. You should also try going down hill in neutral and whenever always try driving at a reasonable speed and take speed limits seriously.

Secret #6: Another way to help with fuel consumption is by reducing drag, so keep your windows right up and remove any kind of roof rack if it is not in use.

Secret #7: Install an alternative fuel booster like water fuel or HHO gas system. . Based on your specific vehicle, you may see a mileage increase of 10% to 40%. These systems are cheap, and fairly easy to install.

It is amazing at just what savings can be made with just a bit of time and effort and I'm sure the rising gas prices will make you even more interested in these savings. You may still have some doubts so I would recommend a look at the WaterFuelS web site which is extremely informative.

Best Gas Mileage - 10 Basic Gas Saving and Hypermiling Tips

Is it possible to save 20% or more on gas? Yes it is. In fact, it is possible to save 30- 40% and it isn't even difficult. Hypermiling, the noble art of squeezing every last mile out of a gallon, isn't brain surgery or rocket science. Anyone can do it. Employ some easy, basic Hypermiling tricks and you'll increase your car's MPG the minute you pull out of the driveway.

$4 a gallon and rising. Gas prices have reached an all time high. And if you think $4 is the bloody limit, fasten your seat belt. Experts are saying the worst is yet to come. $5 a gallon, they say, is just a matter of time. As is $6. Some warn us to be prepared for $8 a gallon. Ridiculous? Impossible? Ridiculous yes. Impossible no. In Europe $9 a gallon is considered a bargain...

Although the prices of hybrids seem to go up faster then the price of gas, investing in a so called green car is probably a smart thing to do. But what if you don't have an extra $20,000? Well, below are some basic, easy to follow hypermiling tips. Employ a handful and you'll see results immediately.

1 Check your tires. Under inflated tires make your car waste gas. It is that simple. Check the manual for the manufacturer's recommendations and keep your tires properly inflated. Make it a Saturday routine.

2 How much weighs that golf bag in the back of your car? Every extra 100 pounds is costing you as much as 2% on your car's fuel efficiency. With today's gas prices, that's a lot of money.

3 Here comes the one you don't like: slow down. On highways 55 is the most efficient mph. At 60 and above your fuel efficiency decreases rapidly.

4 Jackrabbit starts, tire screeching stops and speeding can lower your MPG by 5% on city streets. Aggressive driving on highways will cost you even 33%.

5 Check your oxygen filter or have a mechanic do the job. A faulty oxygen sensor can cost you many fill-ups a year because it keeps sending more gas to the engine then needed.

6 Speaking of gas: don't use premium fuel unless you have to. Don't take your manufacturers word for it. It isn't a secret that some were recommending premium fuels in cases where regular would do just fine, because there were ties to oil companies. Check the internet.

7 Speaking of filters: clean your air filter or replace it. Especially if your daily routine forces you to drive on dirty roads or in polluted cities. A dirty air filter kills fuel efficiency.

8 Also check on your so called "forgotten filters". You know, the fuel filter, the PCV valve and the breather filter. Replacing these filters every 15,000 miles will probably improve your MPG by 10-15%.

9 Idling your engine for 15 minutes wastes one gallon of gas. That's $4, remember? So avoid it. How? For example by reducing the amount of time you let your car warm up.

10 Last but not least: older caps get out of shape and let gas fumes escape. That's an expensive waste. You can save up to 15 gallons a year (that's $60!) just by replacing an old gas cap. So go out and get yourself a new one. Better yet, make it one with a lock. As gas prices go up, so do gas thefts.

These 10 tips alone can help you save a small fortune on gas. If you want to save more, it'll come down to changing your driving habits. I know, that sounds extremely boring but it isn't. Actually it is fun - a challenge to fight the monster prices at the pump. A challenge that can save you as much as $300 a year if you drive just 10 miles a day.

HyperMiling, the noble art of using all sorts of tips, tricks and hypermiling techniques to squeeze every mile out of a gallon isn't hard at all. In fact, many of these tricks and tips are so easy to implement that it will truly surprise you. Recently, Kenneth Kender published a HyperMiling manual stuffed with gas saving tips that actually work and improve your car's MPG (miles per Gallon) by 25-40% the next time you pull out of your driveway.

Best Gas Mileage - Gas Saving Tips And Strategies To Save Fuel

With all of the negativity out there about gas saving devices and products that just don't work, you may be better off to put your time and money into other efforts that have been known to work rather well.

You can be sure if a really effective gas saving device does come onto the market it will be in the news, online, and people will be talking about it. In the mean time do what you can to save yourself as much money as you can. It can prevent you from being as stressed out when you see that gas gauge towards empty.

A very effective method you may want to incorporate into your gas saving efforts is hypermiling. It means you will be able to change some of your behaviors, get your vehicle in top operating shape, and maximize fuel efficiency. You will also be able to monitor your progress without any gadgets.

This is a proven way for you to save money without buying any type of product at all. In addition, it will help you to have a vehicle that last longer. You won't need a new one any time soon when it is well maintained. It will also help to reduce the risk of vehicle related accidents.

How often do you change the oil on your vehicle? This should be a standard practice every 3,000 miles or every 3 months. Whichever you get to first is what you go with. Most places that change your oil will put a sticker on the inside of the windshield. It will tell you the date and the mileage so you can easily view that information.

Having the right amount of air in your tires will help to reduce the amount of fuel you use as well. You need to check your owner's manual to see how much pounds of pressure you should have in each of them. Too much or too little isn't safe either so always keep a close eye on this.

Get your vehicle a tune up every six months to a year as well depending on how many miles you put on it. At this time they can do a complete inspection for you. Don't wait until something is really wrong with your vehicle before you get it looked at.

A leaking fuel injector, clogged air filter, or an old oxygen sensor won't prevent your vehicle from operating. However, it will increase the amount of fuel you have to use in order to get around. It is more cost effective to repair or replace these items in order to save you money in the long run.

By maintaining a constant speed you will use less fuel in you vehicle. It is when you accelerate and slow down all the time that you end up using more of it. If that is your style of driving then you can modify it. Stop speeding to get places on time and plan better so you can leave earlier.

Instead of rushing to pass the cars in front of you set your cruise control. This way you can stay at a constant speed. You also want to leave enough room between you and the car in front of you. This will require less breaking and so your car won't use as much fuel to get back into motion again.

Making changes to your regular routine is also a big part of hypermiling. Think about carpooling to work and for your children's activities whenever possible. This will reduce the amount of trips you make per week in your vehicle.

You also need to schedule errands and other outings so you aren't covering the same ground over and over again. Plan when you will go to the grocery store and everything you need for a one or two week period. This way you won't have to go back and forth for select ingredients to complete your meals.

Hypermiling has become quite popular as a method for saving money on gas. It doesn't require buying any type of device and most of the options are extremely affordable or cost nothing at all. An oil change generally runs about $30 which is no big deal. Other vehicle repairs are going to cost more but you still need to get them taken care of.

When you are out of gas determine how many miles you went on that tank of gas. When you divide that amount by the number of gallons you purchased you get the amount of miles per gallon.

Now implement one or two of the hypermiling strategies before you fill up the second time. Keep track of your miles per gallon using that same formula. You will see some differences and hopefully that will encourage you to continue with these methods. You can also consider implementing a couple more of them to give yourself even better gas mileage.

Best Gas Mileage - How to Improve Gas Mileage – With Water?

Is it truly possible to improve gas mileage by using water? If so, how?

Perhaps the title should have been phrased as a different question. Is it possible to improve gas mileage? And what's all the hype about HHO gas or Brown's gas? With gas prices so high and continuing to rise, consumers are ready to try other options. Mass transit seems to work for some parts of the world but the rest of us are stuck trying to figure out how to get every last mile out of our gas tank.

I considered getting a hybrid car and the costs scared me away. However during my research I stumbled upon a new way to improve mileage. And get this, it's a way to run car on water using a water fuel cell to generate… well hydrogen as an alternative fuel source. The website has more details but for me all I need to know is that you and I can fight back in the battle with ever-rising gas prices.

These alternative fuel sites seem to be popping up in several places, yet each seems to come down to the same principal. A do-it-yourself hybrid that runs on standard gasoline plus HHO gas as an alternative fuel supplement. The system is said to improve mileage and you literally run car on water. Who would of thunk lil' ol me the high school physics drop-out would be writing on something as cool as a water fuel cell. You can find full details at With the endless search on how to improve gas mileage, you owe it to yourself to at least consider the options.

John Resendez is an internet marketer committed to bringing useful, time saving and often life saving solutions to consumers. His most recent interest is in HHO gas devices and has created the site NewGas-T With recent increases in gas prices, NewGas-T is researching and promoting new alternative fuel devices including the potential to run car on water using an HHO gas converter.

Best Gas Mileage - Benefits of hybrid driving

A lot of people don't recognize that with gas price on the rise and technology at the reach of our fingers, there are many options to take into account . The best answer at this time is to convert your present car into a hybrid with few reversible modifications. The advantages of converting your car to run on water are the following:

Less Cost and Maintenance

We by now haven't talked about the expenses to convert your car to haybrid. It will cost you less than a stopover to the doctor to heal your flu. You will be able to acquire all the essential gear and the step-by-step guide instructing you on each aspect in to get the job done with no key issues. Plus you get technical support. With a small jug of water connected in the approved manner to your car, it will last for hundreds of miles and you will not have to be stuck beneath your car's cover for extensive time. This can help you a great deal on saving money and can also help any problems in your vehicle.

No Major Alteration Is Needed In Your Vehicle

You will not be required to extensively modify your automobile. The engine stays the same. The single detachable alteration you will need to do is to attach a small number of things together and cap it into your car's engine. Whenever you feel like getting rid of the hydrogen kit you implemented, you will be able to do so by just unplugging it from your automobile with no complicated procedures. Therefore the expenditure to get this thing into to practice is not very high when you compare it with the amount of saving in gasoline you will gain over a period of time.

Reduced Gas Emission

This means that your automobile will produce a smaller amount carbon monoxide released into the air as well as additional polluting gasses such as hydrocarbon and nitrogen oxides. Previous to these gasses getting in the atmosphere they are accumulated at ground level causing a lot of pulmonary diseases and respiratory problems. As you know, this is not very good for the environment and leads to lots of major problems like global warming. All of this can be improved by using water and gas in your car.

Improve Your Gas Mileage by at Least 30 on gas efficiency. Everybody knows that gas prices are going up day by day. By converting your automobile to a hybrid car you will notice a great deal of reduction on many times you go to the gas station. This regular activity will be dimished to a bare minimum compared to what you are used to now.

Best Gas Mileage - What is a Hypermiler?

I came across what I thought was a new word the other day "Hypermiler." I had just come home and caught the end of some show or documentary on the TV and it kept referring to this strange word "Hypermiler." Now as I didn't know what it meant but the fact that it had something to do with saving gas in your car I decided to do some research.

The first chance that I got, I switched on my computer and googled the word "Hypermiler." Google immediately came up with several hundred links, and obviously I was very surprised to find so many references to what I had thought was a fairly new word. Impressed with the amount of information I started clicking onto some of the links to find out more.

The words "Hypermiler" and "Hypermiling" seem to have been coined by a guy called Wayne Gerdes. It seems that Wayne is one of the many people trying everything they can think of to squeeze every last drop of gas from their cars. The whole idea is to get the best MPG as possible from any vehicle. It's been reported that Wayne once achieved 100 MPG from a standard issue Ford Pick-up truck.

It seems that there are now hundreds of drivers out there trying to achieve the same results as the hypermiler. There is nothing special about these people; they are just your average everyday drivers looking for ways to increase gas mileage in their cars by any means possible. The ever rising cost of gas has become so bad lately that trying to save any little amount has become an obsession with many people.

Some of the tricks used by the hypermiler are things like "coasting," which involves accelerating their vehicle to the legal speed limit and then coasting as far as they can without further acceleration. This is obviously very effective on downhill or sloping sections of highway but can also work on flat runs as well. By making sure that your tires are inflated to the correct pressures, and that you have no defect to slow down your progress (such as binding or sticking breaks, or worn bearings etc) it is surprising just how much gas you can save.

Another trick they use is drafting, (following so closely behind the driver in front that it cuts down on wind resistance) but this can be dangerous, not to mention very annoying to the person in front. It has even led to cases of road rage and accidents caused by the driver in front breaking suddenly for no apparent reason other than pure frustration caused by the close proximity of the guy behind.

There are however a lot of safer options for anyone looking for ways to increase gas mileage, simple things like making sure your car is properly serviced, so that it is running at its best. Removing any excess weight, all those things in the trunk that you have been carrying around but never use, (not your spare wheel or emergency equipment though.) Any of these little things will help you improve your fuel economy. So even if you don't go to the extremes of the hypermiler you can still find ways to increase gas mileage and save a few dollars.

Discover for yourself how to make real gas mileage improvements and cut your gasoline consumption in half with simple Step-By-Step guides to show you how.

Best Gas Mileage - Better Gas Mileage - Improve Gas Mileage Tip #2

This is the second in my series of articles outlining tips to get better gas mileage. So far, I've discovered 54 of them! For instance, did you know that parking in the shade will slow evaporation from the tank and you'll get better gas mileage?

Here's another even easier way to improve gas mileage…

If you want better gas mileage, you need to pay attention to WHEN you buy your gas!

Sure, we all want to get the best gas prices - by the way, the gas at all the various stations comes from the same refineries - so go for the best prices you can. Brand loyalty won't help you get better gas mileage. To improve gas mileage, go as cheap as you can without burning up too much gas shopping around or driving to some distant, out of the way station.

But, in this article, I want to show you how to get better gas mileage by WHEN you buy your gas. To improve gas mileage, we mostly think about our cars' gas tank. In this tip, we want to consider the underground tanks at the gas station.

Water, rust, dirt and sludge will do nothing to improve gas mileage. In fact, to get better gas mileage, it's just the opposite - obviously.

Due to rain and condensation, water seeps into the underground tanks at your local gas station. Water in your gas will not help to improve gas mileage.

But, that's not all…

Over time, simply due to age and a little help from the water, the gas tanks rust. Rust flakes come loose from the sides and bottom of the tank and mix with the gas. Mostly this isn't a problem because the flakes settle and join with the other accumulated dirt and sludge at the bottom of the tank.

Except for the day or so after the tanker truck makes its delivery!

All that high pressure gas flowing into the stations' gas tank stirs up all the water, rust, dirt and sludge at the bottom of the tank. It takes a day or so for it to settle back to the bottom. In the meantime, it remains suspended in the gas - until you come along and pump it into your tank! Not a recipe for better gas mileage.

The sludge builds up in your tank, fouls your spark plugs, clogs up your gas filter, and so on. To improve gas mileage, make a note of when you see the delivery tankers filling the tanks at your favorite station and wait a day or two. Your better gas mileage will make your checkbook happy!

Best Gas Mileage - Gas Savers vs. Gas Hustlers: The New Cold War

I should warn you now, this article is going to ruffle quite a few feathers. If you have a weak stomach, please do not read what is in front of you... it just might scare you.

There is a new war brewing, and it's NOT in Iraq.

I don't even think there's really a war going on in Iraq now, but that's besides the point.

The war I'm referring to is taking place right here in your own backyard. It's taking place in congested cities and laid back suburbs.

The enemy is using heavy artillery with big triggers and BIG barrels on them. They let off fully automatic and semi-automatic rounds with a non-stop barrage of bullets whizzing past your head.

When they stop, you are standing in a puddle of blood. Major wounds can be found in the arm, shoulder, thighs, and buttocks.

But these aren't M-16 or AR-15 rifles...

These are GAS PUMP assassins!

We are getting hit hard, and the attack is not letting up. They are going full force, and they are trying to kill as many of us as they can.

It is an all out attack, and just like any war, it is about money, Money, MONEY.

We have to look at the facts here, and stop being disillusioned by the media, and other outside influences, that would like us to believe that "no one knows what's going on".

The gas prices are rising like skyscrapers downtown.

Do you realize that over the past year, gas prices have gone up by almost $2 a gallon? TWO BUCKS PER GALLON!

For the past 6 months, they have been consistently going up at least 5 cents a week.

There is no way that a normal, middle to low income person can possibly survive this attack.

In the beginning, this supposedly started because of the turmoil in Iraq and the 9-11 attacks. That was just a way to get position.

6 or 7 years removed, this reasoning does not make sense anymore. There must be something else going on, and it's very easy to see...

M-O-N-E-Y

The higher ups in the gas and oil companies are achieving record profits in the billions, while the "soldiers" are losing everything.

Answer me this...

Why is it that other countries like Canada and Brazil are completely self-sufficient when it comes to Gas and Oil? Canada produces 3 million barrels of oil A DAY, and Brazil produces their own ethanol from Sugar Cane.

Why is it that GM produces cars with Flex Technology for China that allow a car to run on part electricity and part ethanol, but not for the United States? China uses the proper ethanol for these kinds of cars, while the United States doesn't produce enough of it.

The answer, again... is money.

People are getting rich, and will ride off into the sunset when the new president is elected in November.

This war has produced some of the biggest profit windfalls many of these "higher-ups" have ever seen, and it has been at our expense.

Attention soldier!

It is time for you to redirect your energy. It is time for you to begin fighting the good fight.

Don't meet your death at the gas pumps!

Do whatever you can to save money at the pump and keep gas in your tank. It is your only chance of survival... you are in the kill zone.

Best Gas Mileage - The Top 5 Super Gas Saver Steps

There are three things now certain in life, death, taxes and rising gas prices. There is something you can do about rising gas prices unlike the other two. Did you know that you can become a super gas saver by utilizing key gas saving tips? Below are five tips you can use to start saving money on gas right away thus giving your wallet a break.

The first thing you want to do is make sure your tires have the correct air pressure in them. This is so simple to do and yet many never take the time. Checking the air pressure is important because it reduces wear and tear and will make your car run more efficiently. The more workload you put on your car the more fuel it will burn.

The next plan of action is to plan how you will be using your car. I know you have been in a situation where you just get home and remember you needed something else. In some cases this simply can't be avoided but in most it can. Here's what you do, on Sunday plan out your week from going to the mall to grocery shopping and make a good list. If you have a solid plan then those "I forgot" trips will be a lot less frequent.

The third thing you want to consider is the proper use of cruise control. When your car is running on cruise control it is working at it's optimum efficiency. When using cruise control you should consult your cars user manual for correct operation. If you keep turning the cruise control on and off you will be mimicking acceleration and braking under standard driving conditions.

The fourth step is to clean out your car of any excess weight. If your like most people, you look at your car like it's an extension of your home. As we continue to add and take away items from the car we begin to leave items over time. Go through your vehicle and clean out everything that is not needed for that day. At the end of everyday, take out what you bring in to keep the weight and clutter down to a minimum.

Finally, you need to focus on driving at a constant speed and accelerate gradually. We need to leave our high school years behind us and drive like responsible adults who don't drive like maniacs. The more work load you put on your engine by aggressively accelerating and braking, the more fuel you are going to burn. I am not saying to drive like your grandmother but just keep notice of the speeds and how you drive from now on.

With the previous 5 super gas saver tips you can begin to see a decrease in how much you spend at the pump. This will not please everyone and for those who aren't, buying a hybrid car may be your answer. Some of us can't afford a hybrid especially in this economy, but there is another solution. Did you know you can turn your car into a hybrid? You can. If you really want to save a ton on gas then this is just what your looking for.

Best Gas Mileage - How To Improve Gas Mileage - Improve Gas Mileage Tip #1

I once bought a perfectly good used car for less than what it now costs to fill up the gas tank! And, it's getting worse every day. I can't afford this - can you? This article is the first in a series of articles designed to show you easy steps you can take - TODAY to improve gas mileage and save money at the pumps.

Improve gas mileage and get a little revenge on all the big business gas companies out there trying to rip you off! Improve gas mileage - right now - and save some of your hard earned bucks that would be better spent in other areas of your life! Improve gas mileage and do your part in the "Green" movement!

In other words, all the tips you can possibly learn about how to improve gas mileage are all actually worth the time and effort they take to read and employ.

They're easy too, for the most part.

There are quite a few tips, tricks and tactics you can employ. They don't have to be difficult or involved. Some very basic and simple concepts can dramatically improve gas mileage.

If you only give just a little thought to what you are doing, amazing strides can be made to improve gas mileage.

One tip that comes to mind is parking your car. Were you aware that gasoline can and does evaporate from your tank? Over time this can mean a substantial decrease in the mileage you get from each tank of gas. To improve gas mileage, be aware of this fact and whenever possible, park in the shade.

Parking in the shade will keep your gas tank cooler and help to slow down the evaporation process and improve gas mileage - right now!

No shade available? In that case, watch HOW you park.

Obviously heat is the culprit here, so park in a way that your gas tank is not towards the sun. Parking with your tank away from the sun will help to cut down a little on the evaporation.

Oh, by the way, by gas tank, I mean the actual physical tank that holds the gas, not the valve area where you plug in the nozzle at the gas pump.

This is a simple tactic that with virtually no effort, we can all employ - immediately.

If you have a couple bucks to spare, a new cap on your gas tank can help slow down the evaporation. Get one that locks to help keep your neighbors honest.

So, to improve gas mileage, here are a couple steps to take. Start first by paying attention to where (in the shade) or what direction (gas tank away from the sun) you park. Next, go the website listed below in my bio box to get a free report outlining another 53 tips on how to save gas and improve gas mileage.

Think of it! 54 ways to improve gas mileage! here's a few examples…

Best Gas Mileage - Improve Gas Mileage for Your Truck by 30% Now

Nowadays, more and more truck drivers are trying to find ways to improve their truck gas mileage as the value of gas seems to last so inconsistently. By changing your usual way of driving practices and making some repairs to your truck, you can improve your truck gas mileage.

Below are some tips to help improve your truck gas mileage:

Ok, you may not believe this. But this is one of the better methods to improve your gas mileage almost by double, cutting down your cost, giving your truck more power and contributing lesser air pollution. And that is by altering your truck to run either on water and diesel or on water and gas.

Avoiding speeding is the second method to improve your truck gas mileage. Though many of you may think this is so not cool especially when you are being laughed by other drivers who overtake you, you have to curb yourself from speeding. This is so because driving at a slow speed boost the running of your truck and improve your fuel's competency.

Driving consistently is another method of improving your truck's gas mileage. The often changing of lane, driving at high speed and tail gating are all driving methods that should not be followed as gas that could have been used for the truck to move ahead is being wasted instead on sudden brake and initiations. You need to learn to move with the traffic and always be on the constant lookout for situations which may call for sudden brake in order to improve your gas mileage. Staying away from red light ends can also help to improve your gas mileage by a few miles.

The last method is through a truck's cruise control arrangement. But the path needs to be smooth and without congested traffic. Cruise control methods are not liable to pump the accelerator regularly or to preserve speed. The engine may not require all of that additional gas with the aim to supply enough energy, so using cruise control on long stretches of freeway should increase your gas mileage by more than 25 percent. Thus if the truck is riding on a mountainous region, then the using of cruise control in this situation will be tougher as extra gas is being use when going up hills.

Best Gas Mileage - Things to Know About Cold Air Intake Systems

One of the simplest ways for any car enthusiast to get more power and better gas mileage out of his or her ride is to install a cold air intake system. Your intake system is the starting point of all modifications. Allowing your engine to take in air more efficiently produces extra power and performance. A cold air intake is designed to reduce the temperature of air entering a vehicle to maximize the engine's power. The result of the colder air is a vehicle that performs better, saves on fuel, and sounds better. Additionally, a cold air intake will improve the look of a vehicle's engine bay, by adding color or the chrome look. Plus, installing a cold air intake is not a difficult job at all for the novice do-it-yourselfer.

All cold air intakes operate on the principle of increasing the amount of oxygen available for combution with fuel. Cold air intakes typically do this by drawing air from a location in the car where colder air can be brought into the engine. This is usually within the bumper somewhere or sometimes even closer to the front of the car. The reason for cold air is simple. Colder air is denser than warmer air and will thus expand more when it is heated up. This causes a greater combustion in your engine resulting in more power and less fuel to burn. Almost all aftermarket intakes typically have larger piping and this also helps the flow of air into your engine. Intake systems come in many different styles and can be constructed from plastic, metal, rubber or composite materials. Due to the limited time air actually remains inside the intake tubing, the materials often do not impact a kit's ability to deliver cool air. After the intake is installed, regular driving noise becomes a lot louder, and one can expect to hear a whistle during normal driving, from the sound of the air being forced into the engine. So regardless of what type of intake you pick you should be getting better flow of air to your engine.

There are various kinds of Cold Air Intake systems available in the markets. Typically the main three air Ram Kits, Short Ram Kits, and Long Ram Kits. Long ram air intakes create more horsepower and better gas mileage by enhancing the efficiency by eliminating the limiting stock air boxes and reinstating them with bent tubes that allow smooth flow. As a result, the amount of air going into the engine as well as its velocity is increased. The air that goes inside the engine is much cooler. However, these kits sometimes will have the input tubing low to the ground where the colder air is, but also where rain and standing water may be causing hydrolocking. Hydrolocking occurs when any liquid is present in the engine's cylinder on the intake stroke and, due to the incompressibility of the liquid, makes the compression stroke impossible. You may want to check in to an air bypass valve. An air bypass valve is a filtered spacer that is positioned more into the engine bay, between two connected pieces of the cold air intake assembly. This prevents hydro-locking by providing an alternate route for air to come in, thus eliminating the vacuum that causes water to be sucked in from a puddle. Most of these kits are pretty water tight, but be careful if you drive though a lot of deep standing water.

Short Ram Air intakes are similar to Long Ram intakes. The only difference lies in the short tubing. These typically will stay in the engine bay, and may lead to the grill. Although, many people say that these are not as efficient as the Long Ram intakes because they are still bringing in the warmer air from the engine bay itself. This may be partially offset by an increase in the volume of air entering the engine. To counter intake heat problems, many short ram intakes include some form of heat shield. They also will argue that the Short Ram Intakes offer benefits over the Long Ram Intakes such as better MPG due to a more complete burning of fuel.

Ram air intakes utilize external air to force the air into the engine typically through a part in the hood, vents, or cut outs. It uses a scoop mounted in the front lower air dam to pull in cool air, and routes the intake charge to the throttle body. The air goes inside the intake with tubes linked to the scoop. The velocity of the air going into the intake allows more air and better quality air to get into the car which in turn boosts the performance of the car and MPG.

So how hard is it to install? This is a relatively easy do-it-yourself job. The vast majority is plug and plays so don't worry about having to modify your engine bay any more then swapping intakes.

Best Gas Mileage - Cheap Water Fuel Advances Fast

I don't know whether you have heard that great news yet or maybe you've missed it, but some people have already begun to run their cars on the cheapest resource that is currently at our disposal and it's water. Yes it is actually happening and what great timing when the world is be brought to it's feet with ever increasing fuel prices.

During the second world war water fuel technology was used in both aircraft and tanks, so it has been round for a number of years. Today's society and environment has called for it's return and now these simple water injection systems can assist our cars to achieve increased gas mileage and also to help reduce engine temperatures.

The first time that hydrogen fuel cars appeared on the market was back in the 1960's, but it didn't really develop into anything until just a couple of years ago. The necessary fuel was extremely expensive and difficult to get hold of, which is was why the majority of car manufacturers just avoided it's development. The two big German car manufacturers have though produced the BMW H7 and the Audi A2H2 which you can pick up for around $100,000, but you will still have a hard time finding your local hydrogen gas station.

Scientists from Japan have been able to develop a source of energy by transforming water into electricity and it has been proven successful as an efficient fuel supply for the bullet train. Those of us in the US and Europe might have to wait for several more years before this new technology reaches us, but maybe we have come up with something even better. Scientists have at last come up with a method that will combines water, electricity and gasoline and converts them into two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen (HHO). HHO is both a safe a clean product and the most exciting part about it is that HHO can be used in almost any vehicle on the road.

You will be amazed at how little this revolutionary system actually costs. A Professionally installed HHO system work out at nearly $2,500, although an HHO conversion kit are available for about $500. The parts needed are readily available so you could even "do it yourself" for about $150 and the installation is fairly simple. If you don't feel confident enough, well the kits come fully explained with diagrams, a list of parts and easy to follow instructions.

An estimated 98% of all road vehicles can be adapted for HHO technology and the principle advantage is without a doubt the possible 40% savings in fuel consumption. Apart from that though you will own a car that is cleaner, more environmentally friendly and one that will improve your mileage big time. A car manufacturer's warranty will be in no way affected by converting to HHO, so this could be the chance for you to make a difference. Aren't you just tied of being held to ransom by the rich oil producing nations? Well, if you are you now have the chance to run your vehicle on cheap fuel and not have to worry about the mileage anymore.

Best Gas Mileage - Switch to water and see your car/truck save gasoline prices.

Water posses heaps of energy. But how can it provide power to drive a car? In a simple methodology, anyone with a little experience in cars can convert the regular gasoline car or truck to a vehicle running on water. Above this, it can make the engine much more efficient than the gasoline one. More than 80% of the power derived from gasoline is dissipated into pollution & heat. With a little help from electricity (which can be applied from the regular car battery), water can be converted to HHO gas or Brown's Gas or Hydroxy.

In a do-it-yourself procedure, any car, truck, van, SUV, etc. can be modified easily to a water powered car and your car can run on tap water! This conversion procedure for your car is extremely simple and is documented in a do-it-yourself guide.

The whole procedure would cost less than $100. The parts are available in the local hardware shop. Any person having experience with cars can make the modifications. This installation is reversible which means that the car and be run on gasoline again. This ensures that the warranty given by your car manufacturer does not become invalid.

Principally, water is converted to a stable and powerful gas which drives our vehicles. This HHO gas is 3 times more potent than gasoline. Water powered cars increase the efficiency of the engine by more than 50% simply by use of water fuel. Only sufficient amount of water is converted to HHO which drives the vehicle. Because of this the car would carry only enough gas to drive the vehicle which is definitely safer than carrying combustible gasoline or car hydrogen. The exhaust gas of these water cars is H2O or water vapor unlike the exhaust gases emitted by such gasoline cars. As a result the environment is clean and pollution free. Now there is no threat to the protective ozone layer and definitely a relief for global warming.

The savings realizes from this procedure come in 2 forms: a monthly saving upto 50% on gasoline costs and refunds from IRS for using a green technology in your vehicle. The indirect savings realized by improvement of efficiency of the vehicle comes as in added advantage.

In an easy procedure, convert your gasoline car/truck into a water engine. Water 4 gas not only cuts down on gasoline expenses but also improves the vehicle performance. It is redundant to mention that it creates no pollution at all.

Best Gas Mileage - Increase Gas Mileage By Running Your Car On Water

Gas prices show no sign of slowing down, and the planet is getting into worse shape every day. So here are the facts. Gas tanks have to hold many gallons of gas in order to allow vehicles to travel great distances. Such large volumes of gas hold tremendous amounts of combustible energy, as is shown by the fiery results of severe accidents. So by converting your car to run on water as well as fuel you can save money on gas and achieve a better mileage.

Gas engines, however, do shove a lot of unburned fuel out the exhaust valves. In the early '80s automakers introduced exhaust gas regeneration (EGR) in which exhaust gases are piped back into the exhaust manifold to collect this unburned fuel as use it. Gasoline and water do not mix. Don't you think if vehicle makers could do this, wouldn't they? Gas is becoming more expensive because it's getting more scarce. What happens when we have all used up the sources for fuel?

Can you genuinely run your car on water? The answer is yes. By running your car on water it is possible to save money on gas bills. You can run your car on water by converting water to hydrogen fuel with the Hydro Fueler system. There is a lot of plans and instructions that you can find in the internet so that you can do this yourself. If you don't want to do it yourself, there are professionals all around the country who can assemble and install the water system onto your vehicle. Usually this will cost you even more rather than do it for yourself.

You don't need mechanical knowledge to run your car on water. You can easily convert your car to use water for gas! Simply store the water in a holding tank and then use a water pump to pump the water up into the carburetor area to a separation fuel cell box, giving the user power on demand! This is much safer than storing these gases in a tank.

Everything you need can be found at your local hardware store or through online retailers. The parts you need will cost more than the guide, and typically come to a couple hundred bucks. Everything else is ready to go. Everything you need can be found at your local hardware store or through online retailers. The parts you need will cost more than the guide, and typically come to a couple hundred bucks (it depends on where you live).

Hydrogen and Oxygen gases are a great way to run your car. Some foreign countries are already using water as a fuel. Hydrogen will ignite at 1065 to 1095 degrees F. A hydrogen powered vehicle would be like a propane powered vehicle, which have proven to be very safe.

HHO, the resultant gas after breaking up the molecules of water, is a clean gas that produces no pollutants approximately. It's utterly safe to use and there is no kind of problem with the vehicle if you install a proper kit. HHO, also called Brown's Gas or Hydroxy, burns beautifully and provides TONS of energy - while the end product is just WATER! Mobile Magazine says HHO provides the atomic power of Hydrogen, while maintaining the chemical stability of water.

If you are looking forward to saving more money, improving your family's health life, and laughing at rising gas cost, you would want to check out my run car on water blog to find out the best conversion guide that people trust and buy. You can also find a great information on how to run your car on water.

Best Gas Mileage - The Real Advantages Of Cheap Water Fuel

It may have come to your attention recently through various media sources that there are actually people out there who are powering their cars with nothing else but good old clean water. This story could be the revelation that we have so long been waiting for as fuel prices are hitting all time highs.

Water fuel technology has actually been with us since the second world war, when it helped to power both tanks and fighter aircraft. Now it is back with a vengeance and it's simple water injection system will not only assist in increasing gas mileage, but will also help to cool down engines.

The development of hydrogen fuel cars began in the 1960's but didn't really take off until a few years ago due to the fact that they rely on a costly specialized fuel which wasn't always easy to come by. Two examples of such vehicles that are currently available on the market are the BMW H7 and the Audi A2H2, which cost in the region of $100,000. With these factors in mind the majority of car manufacturers have avoided hydrogen cars, but also due to an incomplete understanding of this science and the lack of operating hydrogen gas stations.

Another new finding by Japanese scientists has shown that water can be converted into electricity and this new technology is currently being used on the bullet train. This new innovating method is hoped to reach the US and Europe within about five years, but don't despair as there is something even better in the pipeline. Recently scientists have discovered pioneering technology that involves combining water, electricity and gasoline being converted into two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen (HHO). This bi-product is very clean, safe to use and the best thing of all is that it all vehicles can be adapted to the use the HHO method.

So how much does this revolutionary system cost? Well a Professionally installed HHO system is priced at around $2,500 whereas an HHO conversion kit will cost you about $500. The kit itself is easy to assemble and install, so you could actually do it yourself for less than $150 as the parts are easily available. The top kits come with illustrated diagrams, a complete parts list and full instructions and you don't need to be a qualified mechanic to get it properly installed.

These HHO systems can work on virtually 98% of all road vehicles and due to it's inexpensive nature you can make big savings of up to 40% on you gas consumption. Your vehicle will produce less pollution, help the environment and go further. Another important point is that these conversion systems in no way affect you car warranty. It is about time that we were given the right to choose a cleaner car that is not solely dependent on gas and tied to ever inflating gas prices and HHO technology works in everybody's favor.

Best Gas Mileage - Gas Mileage Secrets - 7 Ways to Improve Gas Mileage

If you are one of the many people who are looking for ways to improve gas mileage, and lets face it just about everyone is, then read on to discover a few gas mileage secrets.

The car or truck that you are driving may be the latest model, it may be the best looking vehicle that you have ever owned, with its shiny paintwork and beautiful finish, but in reality it is very poorly designed. Did you know that only a fraction of the gasoline that you put into your car is actually used? The rest of it is pure waste in the form of heat, exhaust gases, and carbon deposits that slowly destroys your engine.

Just imagine for a minute, every dollar you spend at the gas pumps over half of it is being totally wasted and literally going up in smoke. Not only is this a waste of your hard earned cash but it also has a devastating affect on the environment, with all those exhaust emissions being pumped into the atmosphere. So we should all be looking for ways to improve gas mileage and cut down on this awful waste.

One of the simplest gas mileage secrets is not so much a secret as common sense. Keeping your car in tip top condition and regularly serviced is most important, as a poorly maintained engine will result in poor fuel efficiency in any vehicle. So

1) Always have your car serviced at the recommended intervals, and try using an energy conserving grade of oil as this will help to reduce friction and improve fuel consumption.

2) Check your air filter regularly and either clean or replace it when required. A clogged or dirty air filter reduces the amount of oxygen being mixed with the gasoline and so interferes with the correct fuel mixture, which causes it to burn rich and uneconomically and reduces the performance and power.

3) Stick with the right type of gas for your vehicle. By this I mean the use of the correct octane rating that is recommended for your car, if this is regular gas then using a higher octane rated fuel will simply be wasting your money.

4) Tire pressures can have a real affect on fuel economy. Always make sure that they are inflated to the correct pressure as tires that are under inflated can seriously reduce the gas mileage of your car.

5) Have your brakes tested by a competent mechanic. If you have binding or sticking brakes then you are literally driving with the brakes on and you can just imagine what this is doing to your fuel consumption.

6) Try to avoid aggressive or erratic driving. Such actions as quick acceleration and hard as sharp breaking will also have an affect on your fuel economy. Always try to accelerate smoothly and calmly, and think ahead when it comes to breaking and give yourself time to break gradually.

Did you know that you can dramatically lower your fuel consumption with the use of one of the gas mileage devices available on the market. These hydrogen car kits use a small hydrogen generator which basically turns water from a small resevour under the hood into HHO gas which is then mixed with the regular gasoline from your fuel tank and burnt in the engine in the usual way. This mixture burns more efficiently and cleanly giving you improvements of gasoline consumption of 35% or more.

These 7 tips are not really gas mileage secrets, they are simply things that we can all do as ways to improve gas mileage, save money, and at the same time reduce the amount of harmful exhaust emissions we all put into the atmosphere.

Discover for yourself great ways to increase gas mileage and cut your gasoline consumption in half with simple step-by-step guides to show you how.

Best Gas Mileage - Hydrogen conversion of Cars! - Your next Business?

Are you looking for a Business you can start with low startup costs and a service and product that is in high demand?

You should have a look at fitting Hydrogen on Demand kits for cars and trucks.

Did you know that with very simple means any car owner can make a device that produces Hydrogen from Water as the engine runs and feeds it into the engine trough pipes. This results in a more complete combustion, which gets more power out of the regular fuel and produces much cleaner emissions.

This will usually cause a fuel saving in the range of 25 – 50%, depending on car and system fitted. Or in Mileage terms: 50 – 100% increased mileage.

With the fuel prices putting enormous strain on most drivers budget, many people will be willing to pay the cost of a few full tanks of Petrol or Diesel for a system that could save them that outlay many times over in just a year.

And, lets not forget commercial drivers or businesses for Taxis, Trucks, Delivery Vans, Buses or Farming and Earth Moving Equipment. The list could be made very long. I am sure you can think of a few more applications.

I will go into the Hydrogen part more in a moment, but first consider this:

You could start a business like this working from home or your car/van.

You can easily source all materials needed for this.

You can easily make the components, or have someone make them for you.

You can visit local businesses with a fleet and demonstrate your product.

Telephone and Internet Directories will be full of potential customers, you can mail.

Once you have installed a few systems, word of mouth will spread.

There is lots of potential in this field. Especially since many people struggle financially, Fuel prices are skyrocketing and there is an increased awareness of environmental issues.

Here are a few things to consider when looking at a business of Supplemental Hydrogen production in cars, trucks, etc.

The Green Issue

The fact is that car engines are designed to guzzle fuel. Much of it passes trough the engine without having burned properly. That is why the catalytic converter is there to clean up the dirty exhausts. If you start researching this issue, you will find that the Automakers are and have been in Bed with the Oil Business for a long time. Detroit has bought up a number of inventions that would have saved lots of fuel, and just shelved them. Like the 300 MPG (Miles Per Gallon) carburetor. Additives were put in petrol to clog up another kind of carburetor that proved too economic.

This system will however produce a markedly cleaner exhaust, and it could even be fitted to vehicles just to pass emission tests. The Hydrogen and Oxygen gas mix turns back into water after combustion, but the nature of the Hydrogen will make the regular fuel burn much cleaner and efficiently.

If you live in the US, there are tax deductions to be had for driving a car with cleaner burning fuel.

So on top of money savings, this system also provides environmental benefits.

Benefits for Car

A car fitted with a supplemental Hydrogen system will never need to be "De-carbonized".

Because the carbon deposits in the engine will be burned away with the additional Hydrogen in the fuel mix. Many users report how the car starts running smoother and feels more responsive. With nearly all hydrocarbons in the fuel actually burning, there will be no deposits from unburned fuel.

Is it Safe?

Hydrogen can be potentially dangerous. But it is no more dangerous than Petrol or Diesel. In this case with Hydrogen on Demand I would say it is safer, as we are talking about a very small amount of gas in the Electrolyzer and the pipes. If installed properly and no flames or sparks are present when the system is opened, there is no risk. Hydrogen also dissipates quicker than fumes from ordinary fuels.

Where do I find the Technical Information?

There are some manuals available on the Internet as E-books. Some will download, but the most comprehensive has to be read on a Membership Site, it can be printed out however. At the end of this article will be a link to a web-site that will give more information on this subject and present the pros and cons with the various manuals on offer. The manuals will have information about where to source the materials needed and how to build and fit the components. There are different systems, some more complicated than others. For a business I strongly recommend the simpler systems, as they will be easy to make and fit. If you have to spend days on a car, the cost of the installation starts to outweigh the savings.

A word of Advice

This is not a business where you will build a great empire. This technology is not exactly what the Oil business want to have around – and this is one of the most, if not the most powerful industry in the World. If you build a business of scale around this, they will most likely come after you. But if you operate locally, advertise locally or trough mailings – you will be flying under the radar. That does not mean you must be a One Man Band. If it goes well, by all means expand. But do not try to copy McDonalds or QuickFit. Not that there is anything illegal with these systems, but when big business fell threatened they will try to close you down.

If you don't believe me type things like "water Car" "Free Energy" "Magnetic Motor" into Google or YouTube and you will see as you study the results that the Powers that Be does not want this kind of technology in use.

If this still sounds like something you could see yourself do, why not look into the matter a bit more. Or, for starters, you could make and fit a system in your own car – just to make sure for yourself that it actually works and that it isn't that hard.

This would be especially easy if you already are a mechanic and are looking to add services to your portfolio.

Good Luck

Best Gas Mileage - Cars that run on Water. The truth about Water Power Cars.

Due to the ever rising price of gasoline it seems that water power cars have had a lot of media attention lately, and if you are anything like me you probably had a good laugh and completely dismissed the whole idea. However after doing a lot of research and hours of surfing on the internet I found out that the idea of cars that run on water is not so far fetched as it first sounds. Read on and I will try to explain the basics of how to run a car on water.

First of all lets get one thing straight about water power cars, and that is you can't run cars on water alone (that really would be something to have a good laugh at) so forget the idea of filling up your gas tank with just water and never having to go to the gas pumps again. These cars that run on water use only a small amount of water as an additive to the regular gasoline in your vehicle.

So how do these water power cars work?

Well quite simply the water is turned into a gas. With the aid of a clever little device called a hydrogen generator and the use of electrolysis to break the water down into its two main molecules (hydrogen and oxygen). A by product of this process is HHO or brown's gas, a gas that is highly flammable. This gas is then mixed with your regular gasoline and burnt in your engine in the usual way.

Very little water is needed for these water power cars and just a small container of about a quart installed under the hood of your car is enough to provide hundreds of gallons of HHO gas. This will last for months before needing to be topped up and will give you great gas mileage improvements and reduced exhaust emissions.

So how expensive are these cars that run on water? Well that's the beauty of these hydrogen generators for cars. By using a few easily obtained items from your local garage or auto shop and with just some basic mechanical knowledge you can convert your own cars into water power cars for as little as $150 or less. And the whole thing is powered using your existing cars battery.

Some of the advantages of these hydrogen generators for cars are as follows. Firstly of course there are the fantastic gas mileage improvements that you will get. And as these water power cars burn the fuel more cleanly and efficiently you will also get better engine performance, longer engine life, and less harmful exhaust emissions.

So if you are serious about getting some real gas mileage improvements from your cars without having to spend a fortune on mechanics bills then you could do a lot worse than converting them into cars that run on water. But you don't have to take my word for it that you can run cars on water, just do what I did, and do your own research.

Best Gas Mileage - New Water Fuel Technology Revealed

Over the past few months, you may have heard on the news or Internet how people are using plain water to power their car. It's an amazing story, especially with $5/gallon gas in the US, and $10/gallon gas in

Europe, but it it true?

In fact, basic water fuel technology does work and have been around since World War II, when it was used in tanks and fighter plane engines. These simple water injection systems helped to increase gas mileage and cool engine temperatures under harsh conditions.

Hydrogen Fuel Cars were developed in the 1960s, but only became popular in the past few years since they require special fuel that's expensive and not readily available. These vehicles can cost as much as $100,000, like the BMW H7 or the Audi A2H2. Most manufacturers aren't even selling Hydrogen Cars yet since the science is still not perfect and there are few Hydrogen Gas Stations in operation.

Japanese scientists have also been working on a car that converts water to electricity, which drives the power train. This is expected to be available in North America and Europe, but not for several years.

However, a completely new technology was recently developed that combines water molecules with electricity and gasoline, creating 2 parts hydrogen and 1 part oxygen. This generates a gas known as HHO, which is both extremely clean burning, and very safe for use. Most of the reputable water fuel advocates recommend the HHO method since it's universal, and works on all vehicles.

Professionally installed HHO systems can cost as much as $2,500, and HHO conversion kits start at $500. However, the parts to make an effective HHO system yourself can be had for less than $150, and they are actually very easy to install. The best Water Fuel kits give you full instructions, a detailed parts list, and easy illustrated diagrams. You don't need a lot of mechanical ability to do this.

HHO technology works for 98% of all cars, trucks, motorcycles, and SUV s. It's easy, inexpensive, and you'll save between 10% and 40% on your gas bill. Your car will run cleaner, helping to save the environment and increase mileage. And the best part is, HHO systems will not affect your warranty or harm your car in any way.

As gas prices keep going up, it makes sense to look into anything that can increase your mileage and save you cash, especially a proven technology that really works.

Best Gas Mileage - How to Get the Best Gas Mileage by Becoming a Hypermiler - Top Tips to Get the Best Gas Mileage

Have you heard of the latest craze to get the best gas mileage from your car or truck, its called "Hypermiling"? To be a hypermiler involves the use of any tip or trick, (and sometimes even a complete change in driving style) to squeeze every last MPG out of your vehicle. And not surprisingly with the ever increasing gas prices, it's catching on in a big way.

Hypermilers have certainly been the subject of discussion in car and driver forums across the internet, and they have had a fair amount of publicity in the media. So is this Hypermilling a new idea to get gas mileage improvements, or is it just a re-hash of all the old tricks for saving on gas we have all heard before.

Well it seems that a lot of these tips go way back to the 40s and 50s when gas was in short supply and being rationed due to the effects of a world war. Some of those tips and techniques that were tried back then are now standard ways to make gas mileage improvements and have become well established, and a lot of these tips are now just common sense.

For instance a heavy car that is loaded down with excess weight is going to use more gas than one that is running lighter. With the minimum amount of weight being carried around in the form of useless baggage the gas mileage improvements can be considerable. Even by removing things that you will not need on a daily basis such as a heavy bag of golf clubs from your trunk could save you a few cents a gallon.

If your car has cruise control then use it, as this is another way to improve your fuel economy. A 2005 study carried out by the Automotive Website E showed that using cruise control at highway speeds could give you on average a fuel economy saving of 7%.

If you are a fast driver or one that accelerates quickly and then has to break just as quickly then you are going to use a lot more gas than a driver who is a steady Eddie. Keep to the speed limit, accelerate and break smoothly and don't rev your engine while stationary (at red lights etc) just letting it idle as it should will save you gas.

Keeping your car well maintained and in a good running condition will also give you good gas mileage improvements. Have your car serviced at the recommended intervals as an engine that is running in tip top condition will use far less fuel than one that is coughing and spluttering just because it is in need of a simple inexpensive tune up.

Other thing are just a matter of common sense, things like making sure that your tires are properly inflated will not only save you gas, but will also give you a safer ride, as under inflated tires are a safety hazard.

These are just some of the tips and tricks that you should be using to be a hypermiler and get the best gas mileage from your car, added together they will give you some definite fuel savings.

Discover for yourself great ways to increase gas mileage and cut your gasoline consumption in half with simple step-by-step guides to show you how.

Best Gas Mileage - Hydrogen Car Kits, can you run a Car on Water?

Due to the present oil crisis and the ever spiralling cost of gas, you have probably heard a lot of talk about Hydrogen Car Kits and how to run a car on water. When I first heard about these so called fuel saving devices, and the seemingly fantastic ways to make gas mileage improvements I must admit I was very sceptical, after all "cars that run on water" come on.

But after doing a lot of research and some surfing on the internet I began to realize that this whole "hydrogen generator for car" thing was not as fantastic as it first seemed. Now the first question that comes to your mind when thinking about how to run a car on water is just how could it be done, and where do these hydrogen car kits come in? Well read on and I will try to explain.

The whole concept of cars that run on water obviously sounds impossible; until you realize that you are not replacing the regular gasoline in your fuel tank with water and running your car on water alone. (That would be impossible). What really happens is that these hydrogen car kits use electrolysis to change a small amount of water into hydrogen and oxygen (HHO) a highly inflammable gas.

This electrolysis is a process where electricity is used to change a small amount of water into HHO or brown's gas. As water is made of both hydrogen and oxygen the 2 hydrogen atoms get separated from the oxygen atom, basically converting the water into 2 flammable gases. The electricity needed for this is supplied by your cars battery.

This gas is then taken into the airflow on the intake manifold of your car where it is mixed with the regular gasoline from your fuel tank. The result is a very fine hydrogen enhanced mixture that burns much more thoroughly and efficiently. This in turn leads to better combustion, lower exhaust emissions, and great gas mileage improvements.

Now the next question I hear you ask is, are these hydrogen car kits expensive? Well the simple answer is NO. As I said I have been doing a lot of research and I have found several of these kits available for $150 or less. There are also complete guides that show you how to make your own hydrogen generator for car by using simple parts available from your local garage or auto shop. And you don't have to be a mechanic to put it together, anyone with basic skills can do it, it's that easy.

Also due to the versatility of these hydrogen car kits they can be used on almost any make or model of vehicle, not just cars but trucks and SUVs as well. Once it is constructed it fits neatly under your hood taking up very little space. And they are completely reversible if you ever wanted to remove it. So if you want to make some real gas mileage improvements to your car, you can, because you now know how to run a car on water.

Best Gas Mileage - Top Secret Techniques To Improve Gas Mileage

Couple months ago, I decide to install a hydrogen conversion kit in my car, to help improve my gas mileage and save some money off my monthly fuel bill. I have heard of people all across America installing them in there car and saving tons of money in the process.

But at the time I didn't know much about the subject until I found some plans online. Which in easy to read details explaining what materials I need to get, how much they should cost and a lot of other important information. The car is not actually using the water only as fuel. It's taking the water converting it to HHO gas, and then it's mixing it with the normal gasoline. This brings a tremendous amount of power to the engine and improves gas mileage by 30% - 50%. All the materials that were needed I found at my local hardware store. And installing the hydrogen fuel kit what easy.

How you're Hydrogen Fuel Kit Works

The process is called electrolysis. It takes a small amount of electricity from your battery and uses it to create a gas called HHO or Brown Gas. This is a pure hydrogen gas atom that burns at a higher combustion rate. Then the two gases are mixed in your manifold air and which then is burned more efficiency through your cars engine. Improving your gas mileage and lowing the emissions output. There are many videos online also show how this process works.

Collecting the Materials

Your local hardware store will have all the parts needed. Building the conversion kit is simple and with the online plans you will have no problems. I've build my conversion kit for my car in under one week total. From collecting the materials and installing them in my car. And I'm glad I did with the gas price as high as they are. I don't know if I could have done this without these online plans. I'm still a novice under a hood of a car. And have seen an improvement in my gas mileage. I'm now getting about 40 mpg city and 80 hwy.

If for some reason you can find any one part they can be order on the internet along with the plans. But first I would check websites like ebay or Craiglist. All so if you are nervous about installing the conversion kit in your car. There are two options you could go to your local mechanic and ask them to do it for them. Although the couple that I went to, they wanted to charge me $1000 dollars for it. Option two, is when you order the online plans, you can also get someone to install it for you. This way it's a lot cheaper, only $125 to install it. Now I don't know how this works because I decide to install it myself, which is pretty easy. You just need to use some common sense.

Best Gas Mileage - Tired of High Gas Prices? Need to Save on Gas? Did you try this?

Time to seriously try Water aided fuel economy?

As oil approaches $140 a barrel and the Petroleum Exporting Countries reap the benefits, the cost of living in the US spirals out of control.

Already citizens are reeling as the high price of gasoline takes its toll on commuters, automakers, airlines, truckers and shipping firms. The high oil price affects a broad spectrum of products: Insecticides and hand lotions, cosmetics and food preservatives, shaving cream and rubber cement, plastic bottles and crayons -- all have ingredients derived from oil, while the high cost of transportation affects every aspect of our living costs.

A few months ago some Wall Street Analysts were predicting a possible oil price of $200 per barrel. Others made light of these predictions believing them to be motivated by a desire among energy companies and investors to drive prices higher.

According to the Los Angeles Times however, "with oil closing above $140 a barrel more experts are taking those predictions seriously -- and shuddering at the inflation-fueled chaos that $200-a-barrel crude could bring."

Now aren't we sad that the electric car was killed?

What about claims of enhanced fuel efficiency from water?

It has long been the dream of motorists that instead of becoming bankrupt at the gas station, we could instead turn on a tap and fill up with crystal clear water, thus cleaning up the planet and not our wallets.

Keith Johnson, retired professor of materials physics at MIT, Johnson combined diesel fuel with tap water to form a mixture that cuts pollution, maintains engine efficiency and works in existing engines. His fuel is simple, stable and green.

He has apparently found a family of detergent-like surfactants that chemically bond molecules of water to molecules of the diesel creating stable 20-molecule clusters. He has licensed his discovery to Quantum Energy Technologies (QET), based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, which plans to make and market his watery fuel worldwide. Perhaps the current price of oil will make this viable.

The NewS reported in 1999 that Johnson's find was the culmination of research that had started when scientists and motorists had noticed a boost in fuel efficiency when a little water had accidentally been added to the fuel. In 1994, American physicist Rudolph Gunnerman claimed that a blend of water, naphtha and petrol cut pollution and boosted fuel efficiency by more than 40 per cent. But Gunnerman's fuel has yet to reach the market. However, a French oil company, Elf Aquitaine began to market "Aquazole", a milky-looking blend of diesel fuel, surfactants and about 13 per cent water and claimed that Aquazole halved the amount of exhaust particulates and cut NOX emissions by 15 per cent.

Now a new home conversion kit promises to significantly reduce fuel consumption and change our lives forever. A step by step DIY manual is available that takes one through the process of converting a car or truck to burn both water and gasoline, or use water as fuel...they call it a water burning hybrid. Electricity from the battery is used to separate water into a gas called HHO.

This conversion process is said to

double the mileage obtained from normal fiuel,

Clean up emissions that damage health

enhance engine power and performance.

Remove carbon deposits and prevent future carbon build up.

Reduce engine temperature - protect your environment and your engine. Prevent global warming while you drive.

The manual and the parts cost no more than $150 and can be as easily removed as installed, making the process risk free.

I am no mechanic, but if I was capable of trying the technology I would certainly give it a go.

The electric car could be killed because of the central manufacturing process. A process available to any DIY mechanic can not be killed – merely perfected.

Best Gas Mileage - High Gas Prices - There's a Solution Without Waiting For the Government to Solve the Problem.

I know, I know the word protectionism isn't the proper word to describe what I am going to talk about, but it sounds right to me. I was reared as a genuine country boy and I can only express myself using country logic and common sense and if my English isn't the most proper, please forgive me, I didn't do well in English class. My classroom from kindergarten up to the fifth grade was spent in a one room school house with one teacher, who taught up to the twelfth grade all in one large room. And without a doubt had her hands full, talk about chaos trying to keep a half a hundred kids in line.

Looking at most of the major news stations and listening to all the rhetoricians, you know our elite leaders in Washington that study the art of spinning. Well anyway all I hear about most everyday is how to solve the oil production problem. The complete focus and recommendations of our leaders as far as oil is concerned is to drill off shore, drill in land preserves, get the Arab countries to pump up their production, in other words folks we need to protect the oil magnates, I prefer calling them what they are, "oil maggots." Parasites feeding off the victims of the high gas prices, which all of us are victims, unless of course you own shares in the oil industry.

Now some of our leaders in D.C. want to push for hybrid automobiles, and all kinds of programs such as a tax holiday from the gasoline tax, you know another Band-Aid approach. As you know the price of gas has gone up every year during the summer vacation season, you know it's a tradition in the oil industry, could it be the ole "let's sock it to them while there's millions of cars on the road syndrome," or "let's make money while the sun shines theory." No, no, no, our government would never allow that, would they?

So if they take the tax on gas away (temporally) and the price of gas goes up, keeping with the tradition of the oil maggots, what will the average Joe be saving, probably nothing? Oh no not another spin, our guys and gals in Washington wouldn't do that, or would they?

Why in the world isn't anyone talking about Hydrogen as fuel to run our cars and trucks, also home heating furnaces, industrial equipment and all the other necessary applications in our everyday lives? Well folks I will tell you why and you can take this to the bank! The reason is that Hydrogen used as fuel is FREE. That's right it doesn't cost you a dime and it is one of the most abundant elements in the entire universe. Oh, and lets not forget this, it doesn't give off any toxic emissions what so ever, so therefore it benefits every living soul on earth.

The key word here is FREE. Do you think for one minute the oil industry will give their blessing for this type of fuel, of course not and if I was an oil maggot, which I thank God I am not, maybe I wouldn't either. It's the ole GREED factor, how many industries or companies do you know that that greed is their creed. Hey that rhymes greed and creed, maybe I will design a slogan for these guys, and they can flaunt their greed, it doesn't seem to bother them, everyone knows their greedy, including themselves, although maybe sociopaths refuse to admit it.

Anyway this type of technology, hydrogen as fuel, is going to eat into the profits of the oil industry and to a monumental degree and it's already starting even though it is in its infancy. It started at the grassroots level and is spreading like wild fire. One thing about Americans when it comes to ingenuity, no one out performs us and if the elite politicians in D.C. had the cojones to stand up to the oil industry giants maybe, just maybe, some of them might talk about the only logical alternative fuel, which is hydrogen.

It will not only greatly reduce our reliance on gasoline by 50% to 60% it will have a profound positive outcome on the global warming epidemic on our planet. It's a win, win situation for all involved. The oil industry won't totally lose their market of victimized consumers (we would only be 50% victimized) and the planet will be refreshed, and our pockets once again filled with the money we would save on the immoral prices on gasoline.

Now I will tell you my opinion of why our illustrious leaders will never plug this concept to anyone. No I take that back, I think there are two that have enough cojones, Ron Paul and Obama. Obama spoke about eliminating lobbyists in Washington, which would take real cojones, and that's the first step to force our representatives to be responsible to who elected them in the first place. Big business lobbyists spend over 3 billion dollars a year, and where does that go, you be the judge. Funny isn't it that it is illegal for merchandise and product buyers of private or public companies to take anything or accept any favors from vendors they purchase from, but lobbyists are legal and for what purpose? Could it be that are representatives are accepting favors from lobbyists? Where is all of the 3 billion dollars a year going, for lunches, I don't think so, although food is quite expensive in D.C., yeah right.

Well folks, that's why I selected the word protectionism, which if you think about it, its logical in the sense that it describes our representatives tactics of protecting big business, and not us?

You can do something on your own to kick the gas habit by 50% to 60% and it's by getting a conversion kit for your car or truck. This type of hydrogen technology has been around for many decades but it has been down played or kept completely secret because of obvious reasons, the threat on the oil industry, first as I mentioned before it's free fuel. The second very important reason is that ruffling the feathers of the oil industry will greatly affect our elected officials and also the news media company's ability to sell lots of spots on TV, full page ads in magazines and newspapers. Isn't it wonderful how these institutional ads flaunt how compassionate the oil industry giants are toward our dilemma, you notice I said "our dilemma" it almost like they are accusing us of causing the quandary, .and folks, the beat goes on, or should I say the spin.

Best Gas Mileage - How To Save Money From Your Personal Finances

It's getting harder and harder to find ways to save money when prices continue going up. Here are some tips to help you save money from your personal finances.

Save money on gas. Take public transportation or look for a carpool in your area. Walk or ride your bike if the destination is not too far away and you don't have a lot to carry. If you must drive, drive to consciously get better gas mileage. When you begin to accelerate, go slowly. Rushing away from stops causes your vehicle to consume a great deal of fuel. When you are stuck in stop and go traffic, leave a big space in front of you and keep rolling. Try not to come to a complete stop to get better gas mileage.

Help your personal finances by avoiding fees. Pay your bills on time so you never have to pay late charges. Don't purchase something unless you know you have the money in the bank to cover it so that your checks don't bounce and cost you money. Only use your bank's ATMs to avoid charges from other banks. Always check your bank statements, credit card statements and other bills to be sure that no mistakes were made and you are not being over charged.

stop smoking and drinking alcohol to save money and improve your personal finances. Not only do you have to pay for alcohol and cigarettes, but your medical costs rise as well. You have to pay a higher premium for health insurance and life insurance. Most likely you will be unhealthier (if not now, then later on) and have more doctor visits. You will also have to purchase more medications, too.

Also, regular check-ups with the doctor have been shown to improve health and prevent future illnesses, decreasing the cost of healthcare. Regularly visiting the dentist will help you save money from your personal finances as well, preventing you from needing more costly dental care down the road.

Another one of the ways to save money is to implement games to motivate yourself to stop certain behaviors; like smoking, drinking or swearing. Every time you do so, pay a certain amount of money, a nickel, a quarter, a dollar, etc. Then put away all that money and save it for the future.

Try these ways to save money to help your personal finances today.

Best Gas Mileage - Pros and Cons of Buying A Hybrid

As everyone knows, hybrid vehicles get better gas mileage than non-hybrids. The Toyota Prius for example, gets 48 miles per gallon in the city and 45 miles per gallon on the highway. Hybrid vehicles also help the environment by reducing emissions that cause global warming. However, there is more to consider before purchasing a hybrid.

Hybrid cars are hard to resell. They depreciate in value slowly, so for only a little more money, a new hybrid can be bought. Depending on where you live, it may even be more expensive to buy a used hybrid than a new one. For example, the 2008 Toyota Prius begins at $21,500. Searching for a 2006 Toyota Prius in my area using the Kelly Blue Book internet website, the used Prius was listed at $23,655, over $2,000 more than the price listed for a new one.

Hybrid vehicles need special parts that are not sold by all companies, as non-hybrid car parts are. The replacement parts for hybrid vehicles tend to be much more expensive as well.

Since hybrids are new to the market, most mechanics have not had the training or experience with them. This means that repairs to hybrid vehicles must be done by those with more specialized training than the average mechanic has, making the repair price higher for hybrids than non-hybrids.

A benefit of buying a new hybrid vehicle is that you may be eligible for a tax break on your federal income taxes of up to $3,000. However, after a manufacturer sells 60,000 vehicles, the tax credit for this company is phased out. Some companies, like Toyota and Honda, have reached that point and tax credits cannot be claimed for their vehicles anymore. Do some research on the specific hybrid model you are considering to find out if you would qualify for a tax credit and how much it would be, the amount varies by vehicle.

Do not purchase a hybrid vehicle only because they get better gas mileage and help the environment. Research the specific vehicle that interests you so that you will not be surprised by future costs and unable to maintain your new hybrid.

Best Gas Mileage - How to get the best gas mileage from your car by using GPS

Everybody is asking how to get the best gas mileage from their cars these days; well some of us already have one simple way to achieve this. Many of us have now got a GPS (Global Positioning System) in our cars. This little device which is mounted onto the dashboard helps us to find our way around unfamiliar cities by telling us where and when to make a right or left turn, or by finding the best route to a certain location. But how many of us are using our GPS to get the best gas mileage from our cars?

One way to use our GPS to get gas mileage improvements is to ask it to find the quickest route to out destination. Notice that I said quickest and not shortest route, that's because the route on a map that looks the shortest may in fact be filled with stop signs and other hold ups that would be wasting precious gas. So it's much more economical to ask it to find the QUICKEST route.

Another plus of using a GPS is that most of them will let you mark hundreds of your favourite locations, and places that you visit on a regular basis. These location marks ("waypoints" if you want the correct term) will help your GPS to map out the quickest route for your multiple stops, so saving you gas by not having to run around all over the place.

The GPS has come along way since it first came out, and the newer versions are even better. The next generation in GPS utility has begun with Dash, a device that incorporates aspects of social networking. These aspects allow it to tell you much more than just where to make the next turn or where you are at any particular time. It can also tell you where the traffic hold-ups are.

With the use of an internet connection along with a two-way satellite connection it allows the user to send information as well as receive it. This system makes the traffic reports generated by Dash very detailed and up to date minute by minute. This is because while you are driving Dash is constantly transmitting anonymous information on your speed and location. You can also use Dash's internet connection to access social networking sites, allowing YOU to post information on traffic hold-ups so helping other drivers following or using the same route as you.

So Dash is constantly calculating your route by using maps and real-time traffic information. This highly personalized; detailed and immediately updated information on traffic reports makes it a really effective way to get gas mileage improvements as well as saving you valuable time stuck in traffic.

Another bonus of using Dash is that it can tell you where to get the cheapest gas available on your route by using its internet access to sites like Gasbuddy. So if you are still trying to find out how to get the best gas mileage from your car, the proper use of a good GPS with something like Dash is a great start.

Best Gas Mileage - How to Increase Gas Mileage - Don't Be Easy Prey!

This article gives advice on how to increase gas mileage and offers some guidance about phony gas saving gimmicks and products.

As Gas Prices Increase, Don't Be Easy Prey For Gas-Saving Gimmicks.

The price of gasoline in the United States, that had been priced reasonably low as compared to the rest of the world, has been on the increase over the past couple of years and it seems by market forecasts, that it's not likely to go down in the for seeable future.

With record-high gas prices approaching permanently as a part of our future, people everywhere are now looking to find ways of making their vehicles more fuel-efficient.

Some are trading in their petrol-guzzling SUV's for more economical hybrid cars.

Others are becoming the now termed "hypermilers". They are a new breed of road warrior that'll do almost anything to squeeze the very highest mile-per-gallon from every small drop of fuel their vehicles can consume.

There is a great deal of attention now focused on these hypermiling drivers who say that they have been able to increase the average MPG of their Civic or Honda from 27 mpg to 40 mpg by using only a few very simple tricks.

Increasing Gas Mileage - The Return of the Myths...

All this talk of using tactics, and techniques to increase a car's gasoline mileage has expectedly opened the doors to a whole new deluge of old tricks that are claiming that they can increase your vehicle to extraordinary levels of fuel

efficiency.

It is a sad fact though, that a lot of these tricks and gimmicks are nothing less than scams and myths designed to get access to your wallets. Some of these have been around since gasoline was rationed in World War Two.

Some may be fooled that by using secret additives or by putting magnets on their gas tanks that they can make a saving, but it is claimed by the Environmental Protection Agency, that they won't save a penny on fuel. They test products and gadgets that claim to significantly save petrol mpg.

They test fuel consumption by putting cars up on racks that allow the wheels to go round as though they were in real driving conditions, then "virtually" take the automobile over a computerized course.

Gadgets and Products Tested - Do They Really Increase Gas Mileage?

The EPA stated that over the years, they've tested over a hundred different products that claim to save on fuel by increasing fuel efficiency.

Most of these products come into two categories - either gadgets or additives. The most common of these are liquid additives that you add to your vehicles' gas tank, and magnets that they say changes the molecular structure of gasoline and gadgets that pump more air into your carburetor.

The Environmental Protection Agency has said that in all its tests it hasn't found one product that significantly saved on gasoline - and not to mention all the savings that many claimed.

Unfortunately, especially on the Internet, many of the myths seem to have returned, even in spite of the efforts of the EPA.

With just a quick search on Google, you'll be overwhelmed by the amount of products making these preposterous claims. There are products that range from $40 - $200 for sale on many websites. Many of the facts and figures that are being used to sell these products have long been exposed by the EPA.

The Environmental Protection Agency doesn't certify labs and neither does the U.S Federal Government give endorsements to any fuel saving products for vehicles. And yet, some of the sellers of these products try to claim that their products have indeed been tested and endorsed by the EPA - Certified Labs.

Let's face it, with the amount of pressure that auto manufacturers are faced with to provide better fuel economy for their consumers, don't you think that if any of these so-claimed gas saving products actually worked, that they'd incorporate them into the making of their cars?

Although it may seem very tempting to stretch your gas dollar to the maximum, especially when you can purchase a product that appears promising for around $20 - it's best to apply caution. At best, most just won't work, while others at worst have been shown to cause engine damage.

So, before you attempt to save money by spending cash on some of these fuel-saving schemes, you'd best consider that the real hypermilers, those who actually do get 40 MPG out of a car that's rated for 27mpg, are doing it with techniques that are as simple as just coasting until a car runs out of acceleration. That's not a technique you can sell from a web page, but it's one of the easiest, no-cost ways of how to increase your gas mileage.

How To Increase Your Gas Mileage

Is the pain at the pump eating away your weekly budget? Are You Tired of getting Stung by the big oil companies? You can turn the tables on them Today - Let me show you how! Why not go grab your copy Now? How To Increase Gas Mileage

You can literally walk out the door 25 minutes after receiving this manual and increase your vehicles MPG by at least 25-40% or more!

Best Gas Mileage - Become a “Hypermiler” and get Great Gas Mileage Improvements for your car

With the price of gas constantly hitting new highs and with very little chance of it coming down, a new type of driver is evolving, (the "Hypermiler"). This new style driver or "Hypermiler" will try any trick or tip to get the best gas mileage improvements from their car or SUV, and then use these gas mileage secrets to save on their weekly gas bill. Some of these tips are simple ones like making sure that tires are inflated correctly, while others are more complex and involve the use of gadgets and gizmos.

So where did the name "Hypermiler" come from? Well it seems to have originated from the Hybrid-Vehicle driving clubs, where members compete with each other to find the best MPG for their particular vehicle and beat the EPA gas mileage fuel efficiency estimates. With the use of real-time mileage displays they can identify the best techniques to get the gas mileage improvements that they and everyone else are after. Some have even reported to have made as much as a 40% saving when compared to the EPA gas mileage estimates

The "Hypermiler" trend started out as a bit of competitive fun, where people would take part in races and "Hypermileage" marathons. In this way the different techniques, tricks, and gas mileage secrets were put to the test and the winner was the person who achieved the best gas mileage improvements. However with the constant rise in the price of gas the "Hypermiler" has come to the attention of the media, and these gas mileage secrets have become widely sought after by the everyday motorist.

These days the "Hypermiler" is more likely to be the average working man or woman who is just trying to get the best fuel economy possible for their car. By using the gas mileage secrets that were discovered by the Hybrid-Vehicle driving clubs they are able to make their own savings at the gas pumps. Even the drivers of the larger cars and SUVs who can better afford the rising prices are trying to find ways to increase their fuel economy simply as a matter of principle as well as a way to save a few cents.

Although the term "Hypermiling" sounds like a very American idea the whole concept of fuel efficiency and saving gas has worldwide appeal. In Europe especially, where the gas prices are double what we pay (and have been for many years) the term "Eco-driving" has been around for some time. The Eco-driver uses the same tips and tricks as the "Hypermiler" to try to increase their fuel efficiency.

So it seems that no matter where we live in the world, the days of cheap gas and the big gas guzzling cars that we used to drive are soon to be a thing of the past. With the dwindling gas supplies causing ever increasing price rises, together with the pollution caused by the use of poor fuel efficient cars, we will soon find we will all have to discover ways to make gas mileage improvements to our own vehicles and perhaps become a "Hypermiler ourselves.

Best Gas Mileage - 6 Ways To Improve Gas Mileage!

Ways to improve gas mileage is something more and more of us think about. With rising oil prices, gas prices aren't going down anytime soon. Though we have no control over gas prices, we DO have control over how OFTEN we have to fill the tank! There are many ways to improve gas mileage beginning right now - here are 6 that can make a big impact and help you get better gas mileage right away. 1. Check your tire pressure. Tires that are under-inflated are "soft" and require more work - and more gas - in order to spin. Have your tires checked whenever you fill up, it doesn't cost you anything. 2. Check tire alignment. Tires that aren't in alignment make your engine work harder, which means burning more gas. Check your tires alignment every 6 to 9 months. 3. Have your brakes checked. Brakes that are improperly aligned or worn make braking much less efficient, which in turn means you have to brake longer or harder, and burn more gas to accelerate again. Check your brakes whenever you have your tires aligned. 4. Make sure your engine is tuned. An improperly tuned engine can burn a LOT more gas than necessary. Have dirty or worn spark plugs replaced. 5. Don't idle more than necessary. Idling gives you exactly zero miles per gallon. Though it takes more gas when your engine turns over, if you are going to be idling for 30 seconds or more, it pays to turn off your engine. 6. Improve your driving habits. Learn to accelerate less, do your errands during off-peak times when there is less traffic, think ahead and combine trips whenever possible. Avoid congestion, and especially stop and go traffic. There are a lot of ways to improve gas mileage. Start be visiting sites like and start putting these gas-saving tips into practice. A gas mileage improvement of just 10% actually translates into a savings of $5-$10 by reducing how frequently you have to fill your tank!

1. Keep tires properly inflated. Improperly inflated tires are harder to spin and create extra drag. Check your tires frequently - it doesn't cost anything!

4. Tune your engine. A poorly tuned engine uses more gas, plain and simple. Have your engine's timing checked, and replace worn or dirty spark plugs.

5. Spend less time idling. You are getting no miles per gallon while you are idling. Although it takes more gas when you start your car, if you will be idling more than 30 seconds it is better to shut off your engine.

6. Change your driving habits. Over-accelerating, stop and go traffic, congestion, these all burn unnecessary gas. Do your effands at night when there is less traffic so you can get to and from your destination in less traffic.

These are some of the ways to improve gas mileage. Websites like list many more easy and practical gas-saving tips. Keep in mind that gas mileage improvement of 10% becomes a savings of $5-$10 when you fill up!

Best Gas Mileage - Need Better Gas Mileage -- Discover Water Car Technology

With fuel prices sky high, almost everybody is searching for ways to save money on fuel. Some experts have claimed that you can run your car on water. Is water car technology a scam? Quite a while back, scientists discovered that energy can be extracted from water and can also be used as alternative automobile fuel. So what is the truth about water car technology?

AMAZING WATER: WHO'D HAVE THOUGHT IT?

The key to this astonishing technology is plain old water. In chemistry class, we learned that water (H2O) is made up of hydrogen and oxygen. The gas that your car engine can use is called Oxyhydrogen and it is made up of HHO. When water is broken down by electrolysis, Oxyhydrogen can be extracted and made available as an energy source. To extract the HHO gas, a special device is (easily!) installed into your car engine. There are guides you can get on the internet showing how to do this in a weekend with parts that are readily available and cheap.

A SHORT PRIMER ON ELECTROLYSIS

Industry has been using electrolysis for years and the basic process is well known. With the modification to car engines, the additional bits and pieces you install will enable it to produce Oxyhydrogen gas (HHO) from water - right there in your car engine. Multiple thousands of drivers are now using water gas technology and getting very handy improvements to their MPG. All the way from around 25% better mileage up to 200%-plus in one case I found while researching for this article.

HOW WATER CAR TECHNOLOGY CAN BENEFIT YOU

I know you will want to get into the details via the links below, so here's a quick wrap-up of the benefits: 1) You use less petrol. 2) So your car produces less pollution. 3) Your running costs go down because water is cheaper than petrol. 4) You save money. As the price of gasoline continues to skyrocket, you save more.

Hey, I like that, dont you? You can get the full facts about water car engines through the links below:

Apparently the technology has been around for quite a few years but the big oil companies have done their best to hide it, and even to make people think that it is not possible, after all the more you save on gas the less profit they make. So one way or another this technology has been suppressed UNTIL NOW.

If you think that you will be able to run your car on water alone then think again, as that really would be impossible. The secret of these water power cars is a clever little device called a Hydrogen Generator. These Hydrogen Generators use a tiny amount of water as a supplement to the regular gasoline in your fuel tank, which can then give you gas mileage improvements of up to 50%.

Basically this Hydrogen Generator system works by electrolyzing a small container of water under the hood of your car. In this way it is turned into Hydrogen and Oxygen gas or HHO. This gas is then taken into the airflow of the intake manifold of your car where it is mixed with regular gas from your cars fuel tank. As this mixture burns a lot better as well as smoother than just regular gasoline you get the gas mileage improvements that you have been looking for.

So just how easy it is for you to turn your own car into one of these water fuelled cars? Well in fact it is VERY EASY and also VERY AFFORDABLE. With most of these Hydrogen Generator kits on the market available for less than $200 you could re-coup your initial outlay in just a few weeks on gas savings. And as they come with easy to follow step-by-step guides to show you how, they are also very easy to fit.

With these water fuelled cars you not only get great gas mileage improvements, but as this fuel burns cleaner and smoother you also get more power, prolonged engine life as there is less wear and tear, less harmful emissions from your exhaust, so cutting down on the amount of green house gases being pumped into the atmosphere. So it would seem that everyone is a winner (well almost everyone, the big oil companies will not be so pleased).

So with the technology of water power cars, and the simplicity and low cost of installation you too could run your car on water. Why not do yourself a favour and check it out for yourself right now, after all you have got nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Discover for yourself great ways to increase gas mileage and cut your gasoline consumption in half with simple step-by-step guides to show you how.

Best Gas Mileage - Get a HHO Gas to Water Car Conversion - Increase Your Gas Mileage and Burn Clean Gas

HHO Car Conversions are becoming the craze in doubling your gas mileage. With the high price of gas and oil prices setting new records every day it is important to get a system that you can install yourself that will help you get great gas mileage. A lot of people are creating there own water gas hybrids and with the $4.00 + at the gas pump it is good that we are starting to see some alternatives.

HHO kits can vary in price and functionality so it is important that you get one from a reputable dealer. Basically how it works is that the kits takes water in a fuel cell and turns it into burning gas for your car. The fuel cell will hook to your battery so that the water can be converted and the end result is that the gas made from the water will mix with your fuel to give you better gas mileage. Another advantage is that your car will be cleaner because you will have water vapors that are much more environmentally friendly than strait gas vapors.

The system is similar to hydrogen but is not exactly the same because you are burning small amounts of water and it is not pure hydrogen.

The HHO Gas Conversion System is a great way to increase gas mileage and improve your cars performance and horsepower. It may be time to take control over your gas efficiency and put money back in your pocket rather than giving it all to the big gas companies.

Best Gas Mileage - Get Better Gas Mileage By Learning From Hypermilers

Hypermilers are people who consciously drive to get better gas mileage. They do not buy new vehicles, but instead change the way that they drive to improve gas mileage. Here are some ways you can become a hypermiler and save gas.

One way to improve gas mileage is by removing anything unnecessary from your vehicle. The lighter your vehicle is, the more gas you will save. Also, if you have a roof rack that you do not use, take it off of your vehicle. (Remember, though, that in the winter, vehicles are less likely to slide in poor weather when they are heavier.)

Hypermilers recommend not stopping as much as possible in stop and go traffic to save gas. They encourage leaving a big space in front of your vehicle that allows it to roll continuously instead of stopping.

Another way to get better gas mileage is when you park. Instead of driving around a parking lot looking for the best place, improve gas mileage by pulling into the first available space you see and walking from there. Also, if possible, pull into a spot and pull through to the following adjacent parking spot directly in front of you, so that you avoid backing up, and can leave by pulling forward to save gas.

To get better gas mileage, hypermilers encourage drivers to tailgate 18-wheelers. This decreases the wind resistance to vehicles.

For vehicles manufactured in 1997 or later, get a gauge that tells you how many miles per gallon your vehicle is getting as you are driving. This can help you to consciously drive to improve gas mileage.

Hypermilers also recommend driving along routes that have wind barriers, like tall buildings or lots of trees, when it's windy outside. Fighting the wind without these barriers causes vehicles to consume more fuel.

Drive-thrus are something that hypermilers never use. Idling while waiting uses up a great deal of gas and decreases gas mileage.

These are just a few of the ways that hypermilers are able to improve gas mileage. Try one of these ideas today and start saving gas.

Best Gas Mileage - Ways To Save Money In This Crumbling Economy

150 million people in the United States aren't saving enough for retirement, or aren't saving anything. Maybe you are one of these people who are just not able to save money right now. But not saving money today, will cost you in the future. Here are some ways to save money each and every month, and to prepare you for a more secure future financially.

One of the ways to save money is to save all the extra money that you receive. This includes money from all raises and overtime pay. You also need to save any monetary gifts that you receive and any interest that you earn. Any money that you get back from a refund should be saved, too. This money is outside of your personal finances, so it technically should have no impact on your budget. (It would be nice to buy something for yourself for your birthday, and to enjoy the few extra dollars you get from working so hard, but you will be much better off in the long run to save every extra dollar you get.)

You will also need to save money from your personal finances. The price of food has gone way up, making it necessary to find ways to save money on food. Start bringing your lunch to work and stop buying soda and snacks from vending machines. Cut back on snacks and junk food that you purchase from the grocery store. Eat less meat in your diet; it's one of the most expensive food items at the store. Instead, have scrambled eggs, spaghetti (without meatballs) and vegetable soup. Get creative and look for meatless recipes on the Internet. Also, stop buying alcohol to save money, and start buying and making your own coffee instead of purchasing it already made.

Another one of the ways to save money on your personal finances is to be conscious of the energy used in your home. Always turn off the light when leaving a room, and don't use the light at all on sunny days. Adjust the thermostat on your air conditioning and heater. A slight shift in temperature can make a big difference in the bill.

The price of gas goes up almost daily, so it's vital to find ways to save money on it. Plan errands so that you go out less often. Have the route planned ahead of time to drive as little as possible. To get better gas mileage, remove anything unnecessary from your vehicle. The heavier it is, the more fuel it consumes. Driving slower will also help you to get better gas mileage. Every 10 miles per hour that you drive, your vehicle's miles per gallon drop. When parking your vehicle, park in the first available space available. Not driving around to look for a closer spot to the building will help you use less fuel and save money.

Once you are able to save money from your personal finances, have the money automatically withdrawn from your account each month. Add any extra money you receive to your savings or investment account as soon as possible. This will prevent you from being tempted to use it somewhere else, or to relieve the pressure of the tightness of your budget with that extra money. It's not easy to save money in this economy, but that makes it more important than ever.

Best Gas Mileage - You Can't Run Your Car with Water for Gas!

It's all the talk these days, burn water for gas, convert your car to run off water, build a water powered engine, anything to help take the pain out of going to the gas pump! The problem is, you can't really run your car if you try to use water for gas. It's a nice catchy phrase that's caught on real well, but the truth of the matter is, water is not replacing gasoline, it's just supplementing it.

Technically speaking, you're using water with gas and it's the combination of the two that's revolutionizing the way we power our cars. Adding a hydrogen convertor can save you hundreds of dollars at the gas pump within the first month!

You need a detailed guide in order to make the conversion to burn water for gas a safe one, but it's really not much harder than following a recipe. A small container, like a Ball jar, for instance, is filled with water and some baking soda. This container is then placed in your engine compartment and using the tiniest bit of electricity from your battery to break up the water molecules into a super fine mist, your engine is able to burn the fuel more efficiently...and can double or even triple your gas mileage.

Your car will run better, your engine will last longer, and your trips to fill up at the gas station will become fewer and farther between. The government's not gonna help us, folks. Gas prices continue to climb and according to a report on CNN within the last few days, they're at record-breaking highs with no relief in sight.

If you do it yourself, and thousands have done just that, you can add a hydrogen converter in an afternoon for around $150, just a little more than a one-time fill up for an average SUV. Converting to water for gas won't harm your engine and can be easily uninstalled should you ever decide you don't want it any longer.

The conversion to water for gas uses parts that are easily found and will work with fuel injected systems or carburetors. Despite my pickiness about the term, running your car off water for gas seems to have no down side. Even the IRS thinks it's a good idea; they're offering a big tax incentive to convert your car to use water for gas!

Because of the popularity of the concept, which by the way is not a new idea at all, there will no doubt be a flood of 'water for gas' guidebooks and some will of course be better than others. To help you better decide which one is the best choice for you, go to Secrets of Water for Gas for a closer look at the top selling guides. Read the reviews and decide for yourself.

Best Gas Mileage - Own A Water Hybrid - Water Powered Cars In Canada - Power With HHO

I know, you are thinking you can't power your vehicle with water, however it's absolutely true.

There is a inexpensive way to convert water to hydrogen and use to supplement the gas and make your car 20 to 50% more fuel efficient.

It's called HHO or Browns Gas.

The relatively simple device uses a little electricity out of your car's battery, to separate water into a gas called HHO (2 parts Hydrogen + 1 Oxygen). HHO, also called Hydroxy , burns beautifully and provides 3 times the power of gasoline. HHO is a fast growing trend for boosting performance and MPG / KM/L

I am sure you are curious perhaps even suspicious as to why you haven't heard about this from big business. Reason is actually quite simple. This technology is in the public domain and open source so anyone is free to replicate it and it can't be patented. Consequently big business can't profit from this. You will be hearing about it only from the grassroots level, small business that don't have shareholders. Did you know publicly traded companies have a legal obligation to earn a profit for their shareholders?

There are plans widely available on the net to construct this device. For your convenience I am providing a list of key words so that you can do your own Google search and see for yourself this is indeed real: "browns gas, cars run on water, car that runs on water, HHO, hydroxy fuel cell, improve gas mileage, map sensor enhancer, pcv enhancer, run your car on water".

Easy to install & maintain.Good for carb/fuel injection,gas/diesel.Old/new cars and trucks big and small.

Widespread development and experimentation by numerous back yard engineers has proven this is feasible. With this method you can run your traditional automobiles partially on water (that's a "Water Hybrid") with little or no modifications.

* You should be able to increase your gas efficiency by 20 to 50% or more on some vehicles.

* You can drastically cut down emissions and help reduce Global Warming.

* You can improve efficient burning of fuel and consequently lessen wear and tear, engine clatter, high temperature in the engine, carbon deposits, etc.

You see, you have just hit upon some unique information. (This may not be unique for much longer) You can find people selling kits and doing installations, however they are not in the yellow pages as yet.

It would seem the most complex part of the system is getting it to work with the computer on all cars since 1996. When the oxygen sensor senses more oxygen it automatically sends in more gas lowering your fuel efficiency instead of increasing it. Not to worry though you can purchase or even build your own MAP Sensor which will allow you to adjust the mixture of gas and air.

You can obtain complete informational products or ebooks, packed with guidelines and suggestions. There are discussion groups with 1000's of members helping each other with any mechanical, electrical or tuning trouble. Please keep in mind people will always have different opinions and you must use your own judgment when listening to what they have to say. If you are offered a conversion kit or installation be certain they are willing to provide you with after sale service, returns warranty etc.
