Best Gas Mileage - How You Could Be Saving Gas And Keep More Money In Your Wallet

We can all remember a time when filling your gas tank didn't mean leaving your wallet empty but I think those times are long gone. The price of gas has doubled in the last year or two and it doesn't look like it will ever drop back down to previous levels.

We are stuck with high gas prices and the cost of gas is a large expense every month for most people. Some people are spending more on gas than they pay on their mortgage to buy their homes.

We cannot just accept this but it is difficult to see what we can do. We have to get off our butts and see what we can do to change whatever needs to be changed. The simple thing to do straight off is to use less gas but that is not going to be easy to do. We can cut down on the number of journeys and combine shopping trips into one. It all helps save gas and it will save us money.

We can all save a bit of gas by driving so we use less gas. If you take two drivers in identical vehicles they will use different amounts of gas doing the same trip. The more gentle the driving the less gas used and they will probably still arrive at the same time as someone who drives aggresively. You don't have to drive slow but you do have to think ahead. Avoid heavy use of the gas pedal or the brakes and you will get more miles for every gallon of gas you buy.

One new thing we can all do is to modify our cars and trucks with a better gas mileage devices to use less fuel and save money. It wasn't so important when gas was cheap but now even a very small improvement in gas mileage can save a lot of dollars. One positive thing about the high price of gas is that it makes these gas savers well worth trying because it only needs a tiny improvement in gas mileage for them to pay for themselves.

I have been researching the water to gas, hydrogen generators people are starting to use. No, I'm not crazy. When I first heard about these I figured you would need to be a scientist and have a budget of millions of dollars to build one but I was completely wrong to think that. These clever little devices can be made at home in your garage from parts that are readily available at your local hardware store and they can be fitted to your car or truck in just a few hours.

There are plenty of users with these devices who are claiming a 20-40% increase in their gas mileage over what they previously got without the device fitted. Now that 20% saving would mean a whole lot of cash to me so I am planning to build one of these little hydrogen generators myself and fit it to my car. I got the details in an ebook online and it explains all you need to know and what parts to get. I could be saving gas in a matter of days once I get this put together.

You can find out more about Tina Gold's experiences learning about hydrogen generators at her website which is all about the use and benefits of making your own hydrogen generator to get a better gas mileage and
